On 27 Jan 2022 i had a water heater that was leaking. After several calls to different plumbers, I found that Loellke plumbing could support it the next day. The plumber arrived and I asked for an estimated cost and for the bill so I could pay it that day after he was complete. Was told he could not give me a bill because he did not know the cost of heater. Had a new gas water heater, surge tank (to meet code) and approximately four feet of new copper line and new style fitting installed. Said he used new style fittings since he does not solder fittings. Received bill on 28 Feb 2022. Paid bill and asked question on why it was not broken down in to specifics(heater price, surge tank, line, valve, and taxes for parts. Broken down only as tank and labor. Said they due not have to break it down or tell me any of that information.Business response

We at Loellke Plumbing are sorry for any miscommunication. Our invoices are prepared with a breakdown of labor and material. All of the materials to change out the water heater were purchased from one location, so it was listed as one item. The call came as an emergency and a bid was not requested.Customer response
