I spent thousands of dollars with Dr. *** at ********************** in ******, ** to correct my mid line and bite over 3.5 years. The result was less than adequate. The midline is no better and there is a big gap on the left side between my top and bottom that wasnt there before. I was always kind but due to my chronic illness needed to have a room with low lights as I am light sensitive. I was always kind until they refused to see me, again, without paying them 5 thousand dollars! I had to fight with them on the phone for a few days to get them to send 4 permanent Invisalign aligners that I needed to hold my movement. Dr. *** refused to send them until I begged over the phone. They required a money order, which I thought was odd, but I sent them this for about 800 dollars and they mailed the retainers made by Invisalign. The retainers do not fit. I text, called and emailed Dr. **** ****** and they refused to even view the retainers to help. They also refused to refund me and because I paid with a money order I have no way of getting that money back. I called Invisalign to explain the situation and they were ****** apologetic for the unethical treatment I had received from Dr. **** They could not make him do the right thing so they said if I go to another orthodontist they will cover the replacement cost of the retainers since it is proved they were made incorrectly. They apologized since all Dr. **** ****** had to do was call them and they would replace for free through his ****** for me, but they wouldnt do it. This is an extremely stressful situation that has negatively impacted my health. I now believe Dr. **** ****** made me pay via money order so I wouldnt have any way to dispute in the future. And it is true that I was not happy with my Invisalign treatment but that is because he didnt do what he promised. I simply called him out on my lack of contentment with no changes he promised and even worse problems than when I started.
