I am a senior, a u.s. veteran, and a medical patient, but none of that seems to make a difference when it comes to selling the prescriptions that I order to recreational customers and not fulfilling their obligation to me as a medical patient.Today, ********** I called windy city cannabis, because I have driven twenty miles to their location in the past two weeks only to be told that the prescription I ordered was SOLD OUT. So, to keep from making a trip for absolutely nothing but inconveniece, time and money, seeking to avoid the previous situation, since the order had not been confirmed through an email to me, I CALLED to make sure that the order was there and available.I spoke with a ******* who was unable to tell me whether it was prepared or not, even though she was at the location where it was to be picked up and we were speaking during the period that my prescription order was to be picked up. She said Homewood would no longer be sending confirmation emails for their orders, I guess so they can sell first come first serve instead of fulfilling the medical obligations that gave them license in the first place.So since she could not provide the order confirmation, I said I have but one question DO YOU HAVE MY ORDER READY??Answer, ....I don't know but it will be ready when you get here.... So I drove over twenty miles to pick up a prescription that they knew they didn't have.When I got there I was told "we sold out of that", ......would I like to order something else.....If they can't fulfill the orders then they should not take them. They aren't a liquor store where you just sell till you sell out. They are a MEDICAL marijuana dispensary with obligations to medical patients over their profit margin. What kind of business encourages a senior, veteran medical patient to drive over 20 miles, 90 minutes after speaking to them on the telephone that "oh we sold out OF THAT" a****** business, that what kind.
