******* LADDER ROOFING GROUP PLLC: Uncompleted work, poor workmanship and possibly illegal work Our building at **************************** hired Jacobs Ladder through *************************, to perform a roof replacement and install a new deck on a 6 unit building in the city. The contractor performed very poor quality work which has cause damage to our building, and has not come back to finish nor fix the issues. We have paid 100 percent of the roof. scope which is uncomplete, and have also paid a 50 percent deposit for the deck work (which has not started). The contractor has not responded to our phone calls in months and has not performed work since December. We have full documentation of the issues as well as logs of communications since work started. Here are a few of the issues we would like to highlight in our complaint:1. Contractor has not provided a COI upon starting work as indicated in the contract 2. Contractor is in breach of contract and has not completed work within the agreed time period indicated in the contract (12/12/22)/3. Contractor promised to send us copies of permits and has not provided them. We are now unsure if the work performed was properly permitted by the ***************.4. Contractor has not returned our calls in months. We have paid almost $100k in fees which includes a deposit for work that has't even begun. 5. Contractor use unlicensed labor to handle our HVAC systems 6. Contractor promised a 30-year material warranty in the contract we signed for the *** roofing system. We spoke with the manufacturer who informed the building that this contractor was not an affiliate with them and that we would therefore only receive a 1-year basic warranty for the material. 7. In November, the contractor had claimed to have finished installing the roof which was untrue. During heavy rains two units suffered water damages. On 9-5-2-21 ************************* from Jacobs Ladder Roofing Group PLLC gave me a quote of $2,350.00 to take care of my roof and apply ***** #**** roof coating. Paid a deposit of half the amount so job could be done. Jacobs Ladder Roofing Group PLLC provided a 6-year warranty on the roof coating. ************************* let me know to call if there were any issues with the roof and they would come out and tale care of any issues.2022, have had water coming in and leaking into the bathtub from above the window. This should'nt happen since roof had been sealed in 2021. Contacted ************************* at Jacobs Ladder Roofing Group PLLC on these dates:8-17-2022 left a voice message to please contact me for Jacobs Ladder Roofing Group PLLC to come out and look at my roof. 8-23-2022 sent a text message to please call me regarding the issue of water coming into my home.8-23-2022 sent an email to Jacobs Ladder Roofing Group asking for the common courtesy of a return phone call regarding my roof.Left Jacobs Ladder Roofing Group PLLC three ways to contact me and as of 8-31-2022 have not been contacted by this company at all.On 8-28-2022, while on a ladder to do some painting of the gutters, took a look at my roof and saw the gray color (the color of the roof before being coated) showing through in numerous places where the white coating should have been applied with a brush, in the areas that were not smooth/flat on the roof, along with being rolled on. Since there are many areas where the gray color can be seen, that means the coating was not applied evenly or the gray color would not be able to be seen at all. I paid a lot of money to this company for the job.I want this to be corrected by Jacobs Ladder Roofing Group PLLC, have a 6-year warranty from them, and if they do not correct this issue, a complete return of the money I paid for the job.Jacobs Ladder Roofing Group PLLC ******************************************************** ph: *********** email: ******************************************************
