Fraudulent, unskilled idiots. Terrible business practices. 6 years of service calls for a brand new furnace, replacing part after part, only to have happen again the next winter. HVAC techs are amateur clowns.

Unprofessional, costly, complaining and unskilled in working in older homes. Their project manager **** came to my house and surveyed the project. I need 3 ceiling fans swapped, 3 light fixtures swapped, decorative circle added and a door **** checked. Two electricians showed up on 1/26/22 After an hour, the lead electrician said that he did not feel replacing the ceiling fan was safe and if it was his house he would not put it up. He suggested I get a box fan for the window and or move to a new construction house because with my old cloth wiring it would cost a fortune for me to re-wire the old house. I must admit I was taken aback because the project manager **** was here to visit my house and looked at everything and I have had a ceiling fan up their for 30 years. I explained that **** was here and knew what was needed. The electrician went on to tell that the ** was not qualified to do the job, he is only 29 years old, and that he has more experience than the **. They put up a ceiling fan and decorative plate in 3 hours and charged $458 In the kitchen and he cannot figure out how to hang my new light fixture which is the same style as the old one. He complained for a long time about the cloth wires, old gas pipes, traffic from ******** to Oak Park, how my pancake boxes are level with ceiling and should be up higher. Then he tells me my house is a nightmare and he wishes he could leave and not charge me. I wish I would have never hired in the first place.Goodberlet Home Services Response
