In September of 2021, I hired **** to do an addition to my home. I originally paid 25% or 40k. Then we needed to adjust in October. We decided that my garage would need to be rebuilt. This was an additional ******, which I paid. Beginning of November, **** told me my sewer line needed to be replaced. This was an additional 19k that I paid. Turns out this was only a suggestion, not a must from the building inspector. **** never performed the sewer line replacement. I hired another company at half the price. The only thing **** was able to complete was demo of my garage and prep and pour of concrete. He has been stringing me along since February of 2022 that he would be coming to rebuild my garage along with my addition. **** continued to push it back due to weather until June. We finally had great weather. Then, he decides he was happy with the concrete that he had poured. He is not sure that the concrete would have the structural integrity to hold my addition. By the time August came around he had agreed to refund me money since he doesn't have framers to continue my job and he can't find out any information about what was poured for the concrete. He was supposed to refund me the 19k that I paid for the sewer line that he didn't complete. He also owes me money for my garage that he didn't build, and materials I paid for that he never ordered. He has only refunded me 10k and I am still waiting for him to move around money to refund me, according to him? I am not happy with the quality and price, since he is being difficult with my refund. Also, he is not honest about the job. He wasn't honest about the sewer line and he wasn't honest about the framers. He admitted the quality of the concrete was terrible, but he doesn't want to stand behind it. I think I should get another 40k back. He doesn't complete the job, he will try to get as much money out of you for stuff you don't need, the quality is questionable, and you're not getting a refund.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:I hired **** with Gable Enterprises to do a job on my house. He did not complete the job and still hasn't refunded me. As far as quality goes. He hired the concrete company that poured the concrete, but wants me to deal with them directly for quality issues? He wasn't happy with the quality either. He was supposed to be the general contractor on hiring ***************** to do the job. Future customers need to be aware that he does not stand behind his work, does not complete jobs in timely manner, and does not refund your money for the work that hasn't even been completed.

Too whom this may concernGable Enterprise did Not do the workShould Not have complaints..Lastly homeowner is asking for money and it was paid for concrete contractor and Demolition crews to complete work..,We feel this complaints has No Merit and should be removed Asap ! !!Please dont hesitate to reach us thank you

I am rejecting this response because: I paid Gable Enterprises per my attached receipts a total of ******. This was a start for the costs of my addition to my home. He hired a concrete company that charged him $29000. He owes me a refund. Customers need to know that he doesn't give refunds, he doesn't take responsibility for hiring a bad subcontractor, and he is not timely with projects.

We did give her refund $10k and discounts on project and said we would opoxy garage floor and she agreed Im agreement that concrete contractor did poor joblastly Im waiting for concrete guy give me refund so Im able to give her another refund..Again she and I decided to use different tradesmen for project and do it togetherCustomer response

I am rejecting this response because: I've been waiting for my refund since August. I am not working with Gable Enterprises anymore. He keeps changing his story and couldn't get the job done in a timely manner with decent quality. I have taken this job over myself. He is all talk and no action.
