I bought a car at Chevy exchange dealership on 9/29/2021. I took my car for service at a Jeep dealership at ******, ******** for an oil change some time in December 2021 and at that time I noticed something wasnt right with my car based on the diagnose test they ran on my vehicle. On that date of my visit I noticed I had more problems than an oil change, the dealership had my car for roughly 2 months and immediately after receiving my car I called the bank and I told them that I feel like the dealership sold me a lemon title car and the bank gave me some advice to call the dealership (Chevy exchange) and tell them what was going on to see if they can do anything to resolve my issue with the vehicle. At first they gave me run arounds and I wasnt getting any answer so I decided to go there and I talked personally with the sells man that originally sold me the car as I explained everything to him what was going on with the car, he told me he has to discuss it with his manager to see what was my available option. They told me they can purchase my vehicle back for $13,000 but I would have a remaining balance of my loan for $14,000. After I declined Their offer I decided to shop at different dealerships to see who had a higher paid out so I dont have a humongous balance on my loan, they was nothing accomplished based on my research. Currently today 5/6/2023 my car is at the dealership needing a new engine and the repair cost is $15,000.And Im reaching out to whom it may concern for help, thank you.

The Customer was offered a extended warranty and he passed on it at time of delivery . He came back 4 months later complaining  of a issue in the engine. He bought the JEep as is as shown with no warranty.

I am rejecting this response becauseComplaint:

I am rejecting this response because:
The response is not valid because I do have an extended warranty that I purchased directly from my bank as they finalize my car loan and they are fully aware of that because what they were offering my bank had a better deal. Me having or not an extended warranty have nothing to do with them selling me a defective car with engine problems after just 3 months of purchase. I truly believe and Im convinced based on the service that was done at the dealership on my car in a short period of time that this car is a lemon title, the car is currently at the shop for repair needing a new engine

With all do respect the car was driven for 2 months before the customer had any issues with it.  there is no way we can predict that car would have any issues.  we would love to help but at this point our best advice is to use the extended warranty to fix the car.  once the car is fixed we will be more than happy to give a buy or trade value.

I am rejecting this response because:

I dont understand how is your offer is going to help me after Ive been to your dealership trying to resolve this issue as far as getting rid of the car your offer was too low to accept.
      Sincerely,

I purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle from the dealer on 12/14/2022. Two days ago, the vehicle would not start so I called roadside assistance to get a jump. I took the vehicle to a GM service center today 12/27/2022 for a battery diagnostic and battery replacement. I was told that the battery was no good, and since it was an interstate battery which is not the original, this voided the warranty and it could not be replaced under the warranty. I also had to pay $49.95 out of pocket since the warranty was void. The technician also told me that the vehicle should not have passed certification since this was not the original battery on the vehicle. I spoke with a representative at GM and they also stated that since the battery was not an original part that the warranty was void. I called the dealer where I purchased the vehicle and let them know what was going on. The salesman and the general manager said that this was not true and GM or the technician do not know what they are talking about. The general manager then proceeded to state that he was not going to replace the battery or refund me the $49.95 that I spent because he already gave me a good deal on the vehicle. He then stated that he would split the cost of a new battery with me. I have only had the vehicle for about 2 weeks and I should not be having these issues, and I should NOT be coming out of my pocket for anything that is still under warranty due to a company's negligence.
