I scheduled a complimentary cosmetic consultation at The Skincare Center to see if I was a candidate for the CO2 laser. I was told by the esthetician it was free and confirmed it was no charge by phone prior to my appointment. During the consultation, the doctor or one of the 3-4 other people in the room suggested an Rx that *** also be helpful in treating my concern, but said I couldn't use it if I was going to do the laser. I thanked them for the info and left. Later that day, I was alerted by my pharmacy that I had a prescription ready. The Skincare Center had sent in the Rx. I called the pharmacy and told them I wasn't planning to pick it up. Thinking nothing of it, I later booked the laser treatment. A few weeks later I received an invoice for the consultation. When I called the number on the invoice, they said I had an Rx written and therefore it was charged as medical. I said I neither asked for nor wanted the Rx and never picked it up. Since this was clearly an error, they said they would reach out to the practice and get back to me. I never heard back but got another invoice. I contacted the practice directly and again was told they would look into it. I have not heard back but received a 3rd invoice. This feels VERY much like a scam. I was offered something free and they tried to turn it into a billable service. This is very shady. Had I known, I would never have booked the very expensive (poorly executed) service with them. How many people are they scamming like this? They need to remove the charge and frankly, should apologize for this and the **** late *************** was to my appt (leaving me with lidocaine on my face for 2 hours and burning off my hair in her haste).Initial Complaint

Went to business in June for bump on back of neck. Dr. said they could remove what was probably scar tissue. Tissue removed and had stitches. Was red and swollen so i came back 3 days later for them to look at it. Told me to get medicine aquafore which i did. Couple of weeks later they removed stitches but i still had a bump on the neck. Told me another doctor would clean up the bump which turned out to be a cyst. They wanted to charge me again for this procedure. I had already paid to get the bump removed and it wasn**;t why am i being charged again. There answer was it**;s a different doctor and a different procedure. They didn**;t do it right the first time so why should i be charged again.
