I called to get a new patient special included was X-rays exam and cleaning thats what the place said. So I got X-ray done and then found out theres no cleaning included but their are options to buy one l then asked just for the exam but they wanted to do some other work before seeing dentist so I left because Im not paying for more work and no cleaning when I was told there was a cleaning included I asked how much I owe and they want to charge me the full price of the visit when I didnt get all the work done. This place is they lie to you just to get you in the door then want to sell you all kinds of work when they tell you its included Their answer was theres a 3rd party answering service that shouldnt have said there was a cleaning which I dont believe because why would they say it if they were not told to say itBusiness response

I had Invisalign braces through my dentist. A contract was signed and I payed my entire share upfront in November 2018. I was told treatment would be 12 months at the longest. My Cigna dental insurance agreed to pay the rest per the dentist. Now in November of *************************************** $647.00. I found out the dental office told Cigna that the treatment would last 18 months so now Cigna wants $647.00 back due to less actual treatment time and the dentist office wants me to pay. Do I pay this back since it was the dental office that told Cigna a longer treatment time to get more insurance money upfront? This seems illegal to me. I think the dental office should pay back Cigna.
