1. We called Fed Ex for estimate to mail a box with an embroidery sewing machine in it to ****** ********** ***** ******************. They asked for the weight of box, we got that info from ******. The quote was $279.34.conf. # is ************ We are charged over $300 too much 3. We filled out the form with Fed Ex on the phone telling us what to put on each line of the form and what lines to leave blank.4. Fed Ex came and the man carried the box outside to his truck with his two hands. no hand truck or any help. He could not have done that if the box weighed 330 lbx 5. We get a bill from Fed Ex for $999. discounted to $599. which is not our quote.6. 11/4. The bill was sent to reweight review by Fed Ex. (package was already at ****** **). We emailed. fxfrevsln@federal express.com for status. They said they now need specs from ****** and a picture of the machine. It was now in dispute. sent this info to fxfrevsln@federal express.com. They said they reweighed it and it is 330lbs. 7. Received a letter from collections from Fed Ex mid February 2023. I called them on 2/14 at 11am at the phone # specified in the letter they sent me and ******* said it wasn't his department and couldn't help but said my account has a 0 balance.. He transferred me to *****, same thing, then I got transferred to ******* and same thing and that they gave me. discount of 60% off the $999 because I don't have any account with them but then proceeded to give me my account # ***********. I have the shipper for the machine when it was sent back from ****** after they fixed it and they were charged 120 lbs and our bill says it weighed 330.That's problem #2. Then she told me that the class code on the shipper from ****** was 070 sewing machine and our bill is class 110 needles. I have copies of these papers attached here. problem #3 now they are saying they are charging by size of box. So many inconsistencies. They won't budge on the price and I think we are being scammed.
