    On 7/27/2023 at 3:03 pm, my fiancé went inside Hardee’s in ************* Illinois store # ******* and placed an order for 2 Super Star combos which totaled to $26.34. When receiving the food straight from the restaurant, I noticed not only was it made completely wrong and it was not a “super” burger but, the temperature of the burger and fries was extremely cold. I immediately called the restaurant and spoke to the general manager and she was very rude and told me to “ just come in to the store and we would discuss it there”. No time, date, or instructions were given and she did not take down my name. On 7/29/2023, at 10:10am, my fiancé and I entered the store and spoke with the manager whom I had already spoken to on the phone. She lied straight to my face and said she told me on the phone that she requested for me to return that night ( 7/27/23) and to bring the partially eaten food with me. She also said that she waited on us to come in to the store and we never did. Of course, we did not because there was obviously a misunderstanding and a miscommunication because she did not tell us to come back that night. I believe that this is extremely poor management and even poorer business practices. No manager should ever ask you to bring back partially eaten food when they made the mistake by improperly making the sandwiches and not following health code law and making sure the food was of proper temperature before selling and distributing. Needless to say, I spent almost $30 on a meal that wasn’t what I ordered, could have given me food poisoning, and when notifying the store of the mistake- was turned away and the mistake was not resolved.
