On Aug 4th I was contacted by ****** at kids plus advising me that we had a balance due and they wanted me to take care of it over the phone. I begin to question the charges as we have never been without dental insurance. ****** advised one was from a dental visit in October of 21 and the other was for March of 22. I had ****** review with me what the insurance company had said about the denial and question why I was just being made aware of this now vs back in October of last year. ****** advised that they had been short handed do to covid and didnt have anyone handling this but advised we were mailed out monthly statements from their automative system. When I asked for a record of that as we have never received anything in regards to that. They could not, when asked if they can provide me with any documentation to support that they have billed or sent me a statement they advised all the can access is a statement generated on July 22, 2022. When pressed further ****** advised that statement and billing are a courtesy and they are not required to send them. Im was very confused at this point. So which is it? If they claimed everything was sent automatiedly. There should be a record of every **** and statement sent out on my account. why cant they supply me that information? Why cant they access that information? I have an RIGHT to all of that information. Or are they just flat out lying to cover themselves and dont have the information to give me. How am I suppose to contact my insurance to get clarification or question the insurance on the matter if I dont have a **** or statement to even reference when calling. How am I suppose to even make a payment on something I dont even know I owe. I also questioned if they billed the correct insurance as insurance has changed in the past two years. At this point in to questioning the conversation got heated and ****** I am out of characters and request a call from your department to finish my statement **********Business response
