I spoke to *** on 03/25/24 about starting coverage for the car I was in possession of at the time. *** quoted my down payment for $348.69 and it was going to be automatically withdrawn from my bank account on 04/05/2024. Two hours after getting off the phone with ***, I found out from the insurance company that my car would be getting deemed a total loss from the 03/04/24 accident and I would no longer be able to drive the car. I called *** back immediately to explain what happened and told him that I needed to cancel this policy and cancel the payment of $348.69. *** agreed to cancel but today I find out that he did not cancel the policy or the payment. The payment was withdrawn from my bank account. *** has not called me back and he's avoiding my calls to avoid canceling this policy and paying back the money. I've made a complaint with my bank, Allstate Insurance and now I'm submitting a complaint here demanding a refund or I will *** him.Business response

I called the Chicago BBB office about 10 minutes ago 4-22-2024 at approximately 2:35PM and explained that I have no knowledge of the person making this accusation. I have never spoken to him/her. I have no idea what this is about. Perhaps they dealt with Allstate but it was not me.
