I am a general contractor. I took on an insurance claim for a homeowner. The homeowner had arrange for rainbow gutters to put on new seamless gutters. The gutters were covered under the insurance claim, so I as the general had received the funds for the gutters. I paid rainbow gutters in full before the job had started. Upon arriving to the job site, the homeowner instructed rainbow gutters that there was fascia going up, rainbow gutters decided to not to install the gutters at that time. Which made sense! However at no point was there any arrangement for fascia to be installed by anyone. A prolong period of time goes by and I was sued for the insurance claim never being completed. In court, I proved that everything was done minus the gutters and was ordered to refund the gutter money. After many efforts of trying to communicate with rainbow gutters, I was never refunded the money for the work that was never completed and was still liable for the funds to get gutters installed. Was notified by rainbow gutters that I would have to take them to court in order to get refunded the money I paid them for a service I never received. They were very unprofessional while trying to figure everything out. I would not trust them to do any job for anyone.

If your going to tell a story, tell the whole story as to why you was taken to court. It had nothing to do with us. The homeowner hired rainbow gutters, I agreed that they would work for the gutters. Since insurance paid me as the general contractor for the gutters, I paid rainbow gutters $1600 for new gutters. Rainbow gutters showed up but never installed gutters due to fascia now being completed. No one was ever contracted to fix or replace fascia. This was proven in court. The only thing that was never completed was the gutters and rainbow gutters refused and still refuses to refund my money. It is unprofessional and everyone needs to know that they will most likely get ripped off if using rainbow gutters

Rainbow gutter was hired by the homeowner. When we showed up to do the gutter work, the contractor Mr B***** did NOT have the facia replaced so there for we could not install the gutter at that time. The homeowner and Mr B***** was informed that day that we could not do the work and to let us no when it was done so we could come back to do said work. As time has passed we find out that the homeowner has taken Mr B***** to court for incomplete work and moneys paid. These court cases between the homeowner and Mr B***** are between these two and have no bearing on us. We have stayed in contact with the homeowner and when court cases and facia work are complete, the gutter will be installed. Photos can be produced to show the incomplete job Mr B***** has done and why the gutters were not installed.
