I am looking to warranty replace my pliers and screwdriver that am send u pics seeing there old and and shaky and loose like they r going fall apart in to two pieces and I was giving them by my father that has passed away and its the last thing he ever gave me and they mean the world to me if u can replace them that be great or at lest replace some it that great I dont got the receipt because hes died and cant get it and I tryed to warranty them on ur website and it wont let me y I dont no y and I dont no if all the tools r ur brand because I can see the brand in them there so bad if there not all ur brand u am sorry to wast ur time and if could replace the ones that r u brand and urs that be great thank u I would o u big time if u replace them for me thank u if all them in the pics r not ur brands then I am sorry I sent u pics of them please replace the ones that r ur brand please thank uInitial Complaint

Purchased a Klein NCVT-41R Voltage Tester + Thermometer tool at **********. The battery cap of the tester has broken and the tool will not work with a broken cap. Upon researching trying to replace the battery cap from the manufacture and reviewing consumers forum with individuals stating this being a common occurrence with the product, Klein tools does not offer a replacement battery cap. I have reached out to them via customer support explaining my situation through their customer support communication and they have never responded back to me. I have issues with them providing a product that has a known issue and not providing a replacement part to repair it.Initial Complaint

They. will not replace screwdriver without a receipt. Screwdriver has a lifetime warranty. The handle broke off. Bought it from ********** they told me to call Klein Tools. Klein Tools told me I needed a receipt to replace it.Who keeps a receipt for a screwdriver I thought I just needed to take it back to ********** keep getting the runaround between the two bissnessBusiness response

I purchased the Klein Digital angle finder several weeks ago and it stopped working (no power at all - batteries replaced - same problem). I went back to the store where it was purchased and they told me that I had to address the issue with Klein as it is their product. This was direct from the store manager. I contacted Klein on several times and was told that I need to get it addressed with the store - which I have already done - with the store manager. Klein does not stand behind their products at all - I have the receipt - it has a 1 year warranty - they are not willing to service / replace it - waste of time and waste of over 50$ on a tool that the company will not honour the warranty. Hopefully this serves as a warning to others to avoid buying this product or from this company.Business response

We have no record of this customer contacting us. His explanation makes no sense from a distributor perspective, as all of our distributors warranty products with receipt provided.
The phone number he provided in his response was the phone number of our old office building form 15 years ago. The address he provided is our corporate address. We have sent him an email to the provided email with instructions for filking a claim, but it also appears to be very suspicious in nature.
We deem this an invalid complaint.

I am rejecting this response because:Your response is still directing me to the store - as I have stated on multiple calls with multiple agents - Jeremy on multiple calls as well as Jack(I certainly believe the BBB can verify that those individuals do indeed work with you - unless you are going to lie about that as well as lying about me not having contacted Klein) - the store is directing me back to Kiein - and your organization just continues to refuse accountability for a clearly faulty product.

I am rejecting this response because:Again, this is just directing me back to channels that have previously and repeatedly ignored. You are just directing me to a place that has been repeatedly ignored and not resolving a faulty product issue.
