I found a 401k rollover check that I lost during a move. I called and had the check reissued because it was past 180 days. The reissue was approved and they said it would take up to 10 business days. It's now been 15 business days and I do not have a check. I call every other day and get a different answer from someone. It's always "we're looking into it" but the call ends with no solution. I earned this money and they won't give it to me.

On 04/03/24 I have requested a rollover check from my 401K plan, administered by the JCPenney ****************************** Center. After numerous calls and chats I received the check on 04/24/24 and mailed it to my broker Ally Invest. The check ended up on my Ally account on 02/02/24 and was bounced on 05/07/24, charging my Ally account a $30 NSF fee. Today, 04/08/24 I called to JCPenney Benefits to learn that they has the check stopped due to our numerous calls and never let us know about it, nor that they issued a new check (as they say). The new check was issued on 04/15/24 and, according JCPenney Benefits, is "in the **** possession" again, and I should wait again this time much longer because "the first check took about 3 weeks to arrive". JCPenney Benefits had opened several help requests (*******, *******), but refused to send the check overnight or with a tracking number, nor to do an electronic transfer. Today is 36 days since my account was charged and I'm unable to receive my hard earned pension savings, which continue to work for the JCPenney Benefits instead of my behalf. The only option they offer is to wait longer, then to issue another check and mail it again and again. Numerous internet reviews say that it is very hard to get money out. Please, help to receive my distribution overnight, with a tracking number or electronically transferred.

I put a request in March of 2022 with no response. I was told ****** is handling pensions then I was told they will get back with me. I have called several times with out any success. I also submitted a letter in October that they did receive and never responded.

I have been trying to have a check for a medical service/claim that was misplaced reissued. I located the check when going through old boxes in storage from a move. I attempted to cash the check when I found it, and it was declined as the issuing account is closed. Granted the check is dated 2011, there is no cash by, void after or expiration date on the check. I have been told the check is in process, also told it was forwarded to a different division and have gone back & forth with United *************** Penney Powerline (since May) and no one is accepting responsibility to replace the check. Recently I was told *************** no longer has UHC insurance and all accounts are closed, however, as the check was never cashed... I want to know what happened to the funds. Through emails I was told that what was sent and made payable to me was not really a check, but was sent to show me what was sent to the provider, which is simply untrue. I have sent sent copies of the **** the page where the the check was attached-indicating where to detach from the letter. They asked for a copy of the check, which I took I photo of prior to cashing. I also sent a copy of the front/back of the cashed check from the bank after deposit. As I see it, when the account was closed there should have been an overage. Also, I feel that I may not be the only claimant that this has happened to. I simply want the check replaced by whomever is responsible, yet it seems that both JCP and UHC are shifting responsibility. As I am unsure who bears responsibility, I have filed a duplicate complaint against United Healthcare. Attaching supporting documents as well.Respectfully submitted,**********************
