My father passed on January 31 2024. Me and my sisters filed a claim on 2/14/24 for my dad death benefit with his pension through hii benefits center. We were given many phone appointments and spoke to different individuals regarding this death benefit. We spoke to representatives on 2/14/24, 2/28/24, 3/8/24,3/20/24, 4/15/24 and 4/19/24. We were told on 4/15/24 that forms would be mailed out for us to receive the death benefit. On 4/19/24 the story changed to *** was bought out by Fidelity and tag we was it because they were going back and forth with Fidelity about who would be responsible for paying out the benefit. These are things that *** and Fidelity should have worked out with their buyout or merger. It seems *** is coming up with excuses not to pay out the benefit. This is inexcusable to be told tag you it by one of their representatives and to be dragged thru these mess after my father worked for this company for 25 years and 7 months. Why does it take all these months and then to be told they not sure who is responsible for paying the death benefit and that this would be a long process.

My father passed away in 2019, I am the beneficiary for his 401K. I have been trying to cash out the 401K my father left me from this company since March 2022. I have called several times and the company still has not resolved this. Every ticket opened after calls close and Im left to call back to check status. Many calls have been made, spoke to several supervisors without success. I have followed every guidance given to resolve this and today reached out again and was told they cant get it resolved this week. Supervisors promise to call back and escalate each call and no resolution has been made, no progress, no updates. 401K has depreciated over time, office works 9-5pm has caused me to miss work to try and resolve this.
