Avoid the service **** and service manager, *****, like it is a contagious disease. There is nothing worse than technicians who don't know basic mechanics of a car or service managers who say they really don't care about their job because they can get one anywhere. This is just a few of the experiences I have witnessed at Kia of Lincolnwood. I'm really disappointed with the lack of standards in the dealership in general from a super messy dirty service shop, lack of customer friendly service writers, technicians who don't know how to follow service manuals, to the tripping hazards of the lack of a thresh hold at the floor transition from customer waiting area to the sales floor. From what I have read is that their sales department isn't much better either. Too many details, mess **** lies and run arounds to explain here because it would be like a novel. Did I mention the loaner they lent me smelled like an ashtray and it took me almost a month to finally get the smell out of it?Review from Dan W

In July of 2023, I purchased an automobile from Kia of Lincolnwood. I also purchased an extended warranty. After 6 months, I decided to cancel the extended warranty. Unfortunately, the finance manager is stalling and making excuses as to why it is taking so long for them to cancel the warranty. It's been 6 weeks and I'm still waiting for an update. Very unprofessional and shady business practices.Review from Anas A

I bought a used car for 13 thousand dollars and with ****** miles, it currently has ****** about 9 months after purchasing it, it began to consume oil and other defects that have been appearing... not to mention that when I went to buy it I did so with a credit of my bank, which they did not complete the pertinent paperwork and I was confident that they had already been charged, they called me two months later saying that they did not have the money to return the car, when I checked with the bank they did not do the paperwork so that the bank closed the loan and they forced me to take out a new loan with them which was a worse deal with higher interest, it really is a disgusting place because of its practicesReview from Jennifer S

ZERO STARS is not an option Do not buy a car from here---found a Kia ******* on their website for $37,875. When we called to ask how much we needed to put down for a deposit (we were going to pay cash and pick it ** in 1 week) they put ** on hold to "check with their manager" and came back and said there was a "market adjustment"--and the price of the car would now be $44,000. After going round and round asking why they were not honoring the advertised price they said it had some security protection adder blah blah blah and finally they hung up on ** after we repeatedly asked why they were not honoring their advertised price when we were willing to pay full price in cash. Scammers!!!!!! Unethical and shady AF!!!!!!Review from Wanda H

This is the worst place to buy your vehicle, my car has tons of recalls, and its started to burn oil at ******* miles , I brought in because Im supposed to be under warranty and now Im supposed to pay everything out of my packet, even though my warranty and recalls cover the motor.Review from Deanna G

***** give zero stars if possible. Their finance guy is a complete scam. Gives this big story about how his daughter "drives the same car you're buying" and then goes on to lie about the service contract and extended warranty. In many attempts to use the services I paid for, I get re-directed to this guy's line and never get a return call or any answers. I was sold a service package for 3 years or 36k miles - "all oil changes included" per finance guy. Go to use this the next time I'm due and was told I only got 6 oil changes total? Makes no sense. They try to tell me I should get two full synthetic oil changes per year, but their service team had been only giving me traditional oil change and still counting it toward my service package - obviously more than two per year, every **** miles. ***** have to also say that the service team members do not take their jobs seriously and I had to go back 4+ times to force them to check my breaks that they say were "perfectly fine" just to finally find that a caliper was broken. Ran around with their service team and "warranty process" for another month to finally get the issue fixed. Avoid at all costs!Review from Chad S

We test drive a used car, with a sticker price of ****, which is a fair value for the car. When presented with an offer sheet, they added a two thousand dollar coating to the car, which didn't appear on the window sticker. When I objected, they took it off. The second thing, is it advertised a backup camera, which it didn't have either. So I asked to take off 300 dollars for that, they refused, because they already gave me a discount on the coating that I didn't ask for, or could not verify that that work was done.
