This is an  unfortunate situation to which we have tried several times to resolve. We have offered to come back and address several times and the insured willl not allow the roofer to go back and resolve the issue which was identified and shown long ago.   Cant resolve if the client wont let you back

The structural damage he is referring to is a old broken roof rafter in  attic which is most likely was broken because of age.  once again I cant assess if he wont let me in.

I will send a team and myself to fix anything we are responsible for   We have photo documentation proving  his accusations are false

By the way I got this man paid for a roof and also his basement.  The basemt is all done and He is happy.  This all started when there was a strong rain.  The water came over the gutters ( not damaged or paid for by the insurance company and puddled the side walk no water penetration in the house. We immediately came identified that gutters were to low and also identified a corrrection needed in the slope.  We offered to fix  the slope and told him about gutters.  From that moment we were not allowed back

Its unfortunate that this client wont let us back because he has an apparent personal issue with the roofer.   This would have been resolved months ago without any issue

Cant resolve if he wont let us in

Get him to agree to us coming back and it will be handled  immediately
      Best,

      Complaint: 22033086

I am rejecting this response because:Subject: Immediate Attention Required: Misrepresentation and Unaddressed Concerns

      Dear Better Business Bureau:

I write to address several critical inaccuracies in Mr. *** **********************s recent communication regarding the unresolved issues related to my roofing project. It is essential to set the record straight and underscore the ongoing failures that have led to my continued dissatisfaction.

Mr. **********************'s claim that multiple attempts were made to resolve the situation, and that I obstructed the roofers return, is entirely false. The roofer, *****************************, along with his team from V.A. Victory Construction, has consistently dismissed the legitimate concerns I raised about the substandard workmanship. Instead of addressing these issues directly, Mr. ********************** directed me to GAF.com, inaccurately framing the problems as warranty-related rather than acknowledging the issues as failures in workmanship.

While Mr. ********************** did propose involving a structural engineer to inspect the broken roof truss, I insisted on selecting an independent engineer to ensure impartiality. Unfortunately, Mr. ********************** refused to agree to this, instead suggesting *********************, an employee of A. ********************** & **** which clearly compromises the possibility of an unbiased evaluation. Furthermore, despite repeated requests, I have never received the necessary insurance certificates from A. ********************** & **** Classic General Contractors, ***** V.A. Victory Construction, or ************************** LLC. These documents are critical to ensuring that substandard workmanship is rectified.

Contrary to Mr. **********************s assertion, I have not refused to allow his team to address my concerns. However, his failure to meet reasonable conditions for impartial assessment and proper documentation has only deepened my mistrust. His claim that his teams photo documentation disproves my concerns is entirely false. My counter-evidence clearly demonstrates that their documentation is inaccurate and fails to reflect the reality of the situation.

Moreover, Mr. **********************'s suggestion that I am satisfied with the completed work illustrates the problem of working with Mr. **********************. The original contract with A. ********************** & *** was specifically for public adjusting services related to my insurance claim. The roof replacement, which was managed separately, has resulted in significant ongoing issues, including water damage to newly installed flooring. Mr. **********************'s statement about water runoff affecting a sidewalk is factually incorrect, as no sidewalk is present near the areas in question.

Finally, Mr. **********************'s attempt to dismiss my legitimate complaints as personal animosity reflects Mr. **********************s lack of understanding.  The unprofessional work on my roof, the damage done to my truss, the resulting flooding in, and damage to, my basement are the bases of my animositynot the other way around.  To be clear, my requests for resolution, including reimbursement for structural damage and compensation for project management failures, are based on documented evidence and remain unresolved.

I urge A. ********************** & *** Inc. to acknowledge these inaccuracies and take immediate corrective action to resolve these outstanding issues. I expect a prompt and satisfactory resolution to these matters.

      Sincerely,

      Sincerely,

      ***********************

      09/11/2024

      Good morning.

All false. Once again, I have repeatedly offered and asked for dates to assess and address any purported issues.

He claims there is structural damage on a 50 plus year old house simply by changing shingles.

I even offered to bring a licensed structural engineer at my expense and he refused to let us in.

He is Asking for money when he didnt spend any.

I have been in business for over 55 years and have never not resolved a legitimate issue or complaint.

Please allow us to come back and assess and potential issue and resolve.

Just give me a few dates and we will come.

As far as disclosure the insured was fully informed who all the players are all over our paperwork. This is another fabrication.

Bottom line, the roof has been installed and not paid for and by now Im sure the supplier will or has placed a lien on the property

I have the insurance funds to pay for the roof but ************** wont allow and at the same time wont let the roofer come back as well as a structural engineer both offered.

The solution is just give me a few dates so we can come and solve.

***************** is looking for a free ride and frankly it disgusts me.

      Best,
