      I went to accu vision on 1/24/2024 for new glasses after cataract surgery, I paid $444.00 the glasses came in and I couldnt see out of them I was told to just take them home and try them. I said no you should be able to put on a pair of glasses and be able to see if the prescription is correct I saw the doctor again on February 23 and got a new prescription. The glasses came in and I was seeing double out of them again. They told me to take them home and try them for a week or two to get used to them Again I said no I am seeing you should when you get new glasses you should put them on and be able to see I have been wearing glasses for years. I saw a new doctor there on March 9. I picked up my prescription yesterday and although I am not seeing double I still am not seeing correctly , they are like looking through a magnifying glass. They told me you already paid for them and we paid for the third prescription. ***** just have to get used to them and they refuse to give me my money back.

      ***** was in January 24th 2024 after her cataract surgery. She was examined by ************** who prescribed glasses for her. ***** picked out her fames and we sent the job out to her insurance lab to make the glasses. She came back a month later and we had the Doctor check her prescription and there was a slight adjustment made and we sent the glasses back to be remade through her insurance company. ***** came back again a 3rd time and the Doctor made another adjustment to the prescription according to what the patient chose while being refracted.  We remade the glasses again but this time we, AccuVision paid for the remake of her custom lens. She came back again and we called her insurance company and asked what else could be done they said we did all we could and went above and beyond. Also I am the one who dispensed her glasses the last time she was in the office. I went over how to properly use them. She did tell me that she could see in the distance , she could also read with them, so the glasses are doing their job. I feel that she may also need a pair of task glasses just for reading. 
      I can scan and email you the receipts if you request them.

      I am rejecting this response because:

       I cannot see clearly wearing those glasses!!! I cannot wear them to walk or drive or move my head they are like looking through a magnifying glass,  they NEVER once said that maybe I needed a second pair. What she has also neglected to mention was that I told her I see better without the glasses than with them!

      I am rejecting this response because Im emailing you to ask that you reopen this complaint, I rejected Accu Visions first response ,their second response was exactly the same letter, I called and spoke to ****** and she said I did not need to reply.
      But let me say again I have been wearing glasses for most of my life, I had glasses before my cataract surgery but after surgery I needed a new prescription I should put on a pair of glasses and be able to see! Their response makes it sound like I was wearing the glasses for a month I was not! I never even took them home because I couldnt see out of them all three times
      I also filed a grievance with my insurance company reference number G24099630259 .
      And she (the office manger NOT a doctor) did hold up a paper and ask if I could see it and yes I could see it , too bad I couldnt read it, And when I said I wasnt going to pay for glasses I couldnt out of she replied Well you already did and then tried to intimate me by saying ***************** (who did my cataract surgery) and ***************** were Very good friends ! They owe me a refund,

      ******************* was examined 3 times. Her custom glasses were made 3 times with the 3rd time AccuVision paying for the remake of the lens. Her insurance lab would not cover the cost of the remade lens. Her insurance company agreed that we went above and beyond. ************ was not charged for any of the remakes or rechecks.
