I am a Geico insurance customer and had an accident with an All-State insurance customer. The police found the accident to be the Allstate customer's fault. ***** paid the claim and was supposed to get it back from Allstate along with my deductible but they are refusing to pay the claim or deductible.  

Fraudulent practices when trying to cancel. This insurance Co. Demands proof of other insurance when trying to cancel. This is not within legal requirements. I have canceled ****, home, and flood policies with them and they refuse to comply with my requests even though I an insured with their competitors. They refuse to refund premiums unused. Their business practices are sketchy at best but more criminal than accidental. 

I have been through a very frustrating saga with Allstate that has gone on for months, and even years. Eight years ago, my mother put her summer house deed in my name. I contacted Allstate repeatedly with my mother to put the policy in my name, and offered to send the deed, but they never made the change. Then my mother passed away in February 2024. In March 2024, I contacted Allstate again to get the house and auto policies put in my name. They asked that I email them a scan of the death certificate, which I did right away. When I checked back two months later, the auto policy and online account had been put in my name, but the house was still in my deceased mother's name. I spent two hours on chat with an agent and provided the death certificate again. She said it would be processed in 8 days. I saved a copy of the chat, so I have proof. Today, ten days later, I logged on, and the homeowners policy is STILL in my mother's name. I called Allstate, and they said they have no record of ever receiving the death certificate. The incompetence is unbelievable. I can't rent the house until I have the policy in my name. Switching insurance companies immediately.

Following an (astronomical) online quote for home insurance, I receive a MINIMUM of five phone calls per day from Allstate to discuss my quote. After receiving seven calls in one day, I blocked the number - so they've started calling from a different number every time! Not only is it extremely inconsiderate, its borderline harassment. They'll do anything to get business but lower the rates.  

Worst insurance company that I ever had to deal with. they stole my money. 

Never, ever, ever get a policy online without an Agent. If you have a claim, Allstate won't help you. They refused to talk to me. It was shocking. Their customer service for online policies is the absolute worst. Stay away!!!

I was involved in an accident on 6/22/2024 and my vehicle had an initial estimate that Allstate said was a total loss. 5 days later they said it might be able to be repaired. The body shop gives their estimate and its going to total the car again like Allstate had originally told me and had me empty my car out. Fast forward still waiting for a supplemental adjuster to confirm what the body shop found. Its been almost 30 days without an answer on my vehicle.  

My parents condo had a bad flood damage. We stayed in the hotel for 46 days and all they did was used the vendor for mitigation. In a desperate situation my parents accepted this vendor not knowing it was extremely expensive. For the floor installation, dry wall, personal property damage, restaurant fees, contents cleaning etc. All is these were paid out of pocket money except the the damages. The claims property adjusters hardly reached out and made life matters complicated and stressful. My father is in his late 80s and his health has worsen. Also, they are sleeping on the floor because the mattress had been damaged and have not been purchased yet. The house needs deep cleaning. It is overwhelming and unbelievable how Allstate doesn't care.

Allstate insurance company is so bad with Communications and charges money without explaining or providing any documents to explain about the charges. To be specific ***************************** at ************************************************************ worst customer service. When I called her ask for a full refund for the policy she stated without my consent. She stated that it is out of her jurisdiction and hang up the phone on me. She denied that she received emails from me about my refund and ignoring me. I hope I can do something about it so i can get my full refund. It is not fare for her to take money from older people and the law can help me with this situation.  

This is an awful company to deal with. I have had homeowner insurance for about 28 years. File a claim and you will get a chance to see their good hands at work. I have been hit by hail several times and Hurricane ***** with roof damage. They noted shingles missing, fence down and hail damage. Both times a claim was submitted and denied or not paid. Several roofers indicated that the shingles to replace are not for sale. It is going to cost me $22,000 to get everything corrected. What is the purpose of insurance? RUN! RUN! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ALLSTATE. THEY DO NOT PAY.
