I had an alley mechanic work on my brakes but I was not satisfied with that work so I went to this shop to get my car&#**;s rear brakes fixed. He said he couldn&#**;t tell me how long it would take, so I wanted to wait in the lobby. He gave me so much attitude about waiting while my car was there.He rushed me excessively and completely disrespected. He would not even give me the time to explain the issues with my car. He kept saying I can&#**;t go into his house and talk or tell him anything. It is absurd.I paid him $120 to get rid of the noise my brakes were making. Whatever he did, it did not work. My brakes still making noise. He said he would charge me $360 including the $120. I repeatedly asked him and he confirmed the price would be $360 including the $120 for the initial work. I got my car back and noticed it was rattling and shaky. It was uneasy to drive. After a couple days, I felt compelled to take my car into a different shop for a safety check. I took this to a place in Arlington Heights. They let me know that whoever worked on my brakes just threw the stuff back on and did not tighten anything up. That it was dangerous to drive in that condition. I feel this is complete negligence that could have killed me. The fact that we had an argument or words about we waiting for my car, that he rushed me and gave me attitude, and then I got my car back in a very dangerous condition is an amazing coincidence. I called back yesterday and the owner had the same attitude as the employees and showed no concern.
