Hi,We seek investigation of the purchase of Stone Peak tiles made in store from Century Tile.On December 2, 2022, I have taken the time to speak with *************************** from ****************** about my concern of the tiles I have pruchased back in December 2019. I understand much time has passed since initial purchase, but due to the pandemic and labor shortages, issues with the tiles were not noticed until 2020 and caused us much delay. A claim was submitted with Century Tile in 2020 regarding the poor quality of ****************** Highland Black 12x24 tiles. At this time, an investigation with my installer and Century Tile was intiated due to several cracked tiles in multiple areas in my kitchen floor. This claim was submitted within the warranty period. Prior to purchasing, I had worked with *************************** from Centery Tile and was informed that these tiles were of high quality porcelin and durable to wistand the traffic of a kitchen. There was no resolution at the time. Unfortunately, we have deemed this unacceptable and will be pursuing this matter furthur. Since this date, we now have an addtional ***** tiles broken and cracked, with several edges of the tiles chipped or splintered off. These tiles are cracking with even the mere weight of a 150lb person. I want to also take into consideration that I do have two young children (8 years old and 5 years old), in our current household, amongst which one has cut his foot walking on these tiles. This current situation that Century Tile, as well as StonePeak Ceremaics, has left us is not only a defective and poor grade kitchen floor, but also a healthy and safety concern to my family. We hope that we can work together to find an acceptable resolution to this matter and can provide photos and additional information upon request.
