I am writing to file a formal complaint against Woodfire Tavern Restaurant, specifically regarding an unresolved refund issue that has caused significant inconvenience and frustration.Issue Description:On September 17th 2023, I placed a takeout order at Woodfire Tavern Restaurant. Upon receiving my order, I discovered that I was given incorrect items. I immediately contacted the restaurant to address this error. After multiple attempts over several days, I finally spoke with the owner, ******, who acknowledged the mistake and promised a full refund.Unfulfilled Promise and Inability to Contact:****** assured me that the refund process had been initiated. However, to my dismay, the refund never materialized in my account. Since then, I have made numerous attempts to contact ****** and the restaurant, but my efforts have been in vain. This ongoing issue has not only caused financial stress but has also consumed a considerable amount of my time and energy.Seeking Amicable Solution:Initially, my intent was simply to receive the refund due for the incorrect order. However, given the prolonged duration of this issue, the lack of response from the restaurant, and the considerable amount of time I have invested in trying to resolve this matter, I feel that I am now entitled to additional compensation beyond the initial refund amount.Proposed Resolution:Immediate processing of the full refund for the incorrect order.Additional compensation for the inconvenience and time expended in attempting to resolve this matter. This could be in the form of a complimentary meal or a monetary amount deemed fair by the BBB.
