rock valley fence installed a fence on my neighbors' yard and one side of it was installed on my property when I discovered this this year in the planning of my own fence I called and confronted them about it, **** a presume the owner said it was the responsibility of the owner ,I asked them if they did a survey before installing the fence an was told they just put it up where the owner told them to When a fence company installs a fence U would think it would be done proper and within the property lines ....I can see if the owner installed it himself... I have no idea what my options are to get this resolvedBusiness response

******* - The fence you mention was built around 14 years ago. We do not move fences for free as stated in our contract and we definitely would not move a wood fence this old as the structural integrity of the fence would not withstand a removal and replacement.
Additionally, property line disputes are civil matters. We are NOT legal surveyors and it states so in our contracts. We can assist customers in finding their property pins, but we cannot tell any customer with 100% certainty where their property line lies.
It should be noted that the document you provided us is also not a legal survey. It is a GIS map obtained from the Winnebago county land system. It is not a legal document and is not 100% accurate. They are satellite images combined with land record information and can appear off-centered. Your first step is to have a legal survey done. It still has not legally established that this fence is on your property. A legal survey is a cost to the homeowner who has it done. Legal surveys are around $1000+ to have done. We do NOT pay for a legal survey for each customer who builds a ********************** with us. There is not a fence company out there who does this. The customer has the ability to have one done themselves if they so choose.
The is a legal property dispute between homeowners and does not have anything to do with our business.

I am rejecting this response because:
I have a survivor coming out but is 4 weeks away rock valley told me that this happens to them all the time I as a homeowner shouldnt have to have my lot surveyed every time a neighbor puts up a fence and it should be the companys responsibility to make sure there installing any fence on the proper property and own up to it when done wrongly
