      Approximately 9 years ago I rented an apartment from Louis ********************** LLC. While living in the apartment, there were multiple occurrences of raw sewage backup into the basement. The most significant time was over the 4th of July weekend where the sewage backup was left sitting in the basement for 4 days before it was cleaned up. It ruined everything in my storage unit and was just absolutely disgusting. I made multiple attempts to report this issue to the **************** but no action was ever taken so I decided to break my lease. Louis ********************** sent me a rather large bill for both early termination of the lease and cleaning fees. I did not believe the amount of the bill was fair so I arranged a meeting with him and we agreed to a settlement amount of $1,250 which I paid in full over the course of several months. Over the past 9 years Mr. ********************** has sent me notices claiming that I still owe him money and has submitted my account to different collection agencies 3 different times now, despite our having reached a settlement that I paid in full. I have attached a letter confirming that the debt was paid in full. I was recently notified that a debt has again been placed with NTL ****** Systems for a balance of $1,373.00. I do not owe this money and would like for the collection account to be completely removed as it caused a **************** my credit score.

      I was evicted from his property after being unable to pay. The amount owed was not the amount showing on my credit report. I requested a breakdown, a detailed list showing what I owed so I can verify. He said my report is the breakdown and he will see me in court. I explained that I will need the breakdown still and he hung the phone up in my face. I called him in the month of September to discuss it and he told me he would call me back and he never has. He is refusing to speak to me and forcing me to take it to court. The eviction had taken place over 4 years ago

      I have been taken to collections by this slumlord. I received no information about why. I paid him in full and he kept my security deposit. His maintenance man put a hole in a bathroom wall. Again there is no way there was 5 k worth of damage. And to get no warning, no ****, no explanation for 5 months, then collections.
