My Daughter signed up to play softball for the Stateline Sports Group program. She was promised a certain number of games, tournaments, and uniforms. This agreement was not kept and the only way Stateline Sports Group offered for those affected to be made whole was by returning for another season at a "discounted rate."Business response

I am writing in response to the complaint filed with the Better Business Bureau regarding your daughter's experience with Stateline Sports Group's softball program. We take all feedback seriously and appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.
Summary of the Complaint:
We understand that your complaint involves a perceived discrepancy between the services promised and those delivered, specifically relating to the number of games, tournaments, and uniforms. You have also expressed dissatisfaction with our offered resolution of a discounted rate for the next season.
Our Position:
Service Delivery: At Stateline Sports Group, we strive to provide a comprehensive and developmental experience for all athletes. While we aim to offer a certain number of games and tournaments, these offerings can sometimes be subject to changes due to various factors beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, availability of venues, and other logistical considerations.
Communication and Agreement: It is important to note that, as per our policy and the agreement signed at registration, we do not make explicit promises regarding the exact number of games or tournaments. Our commitment is to provide a quality program that focuses on player development and competitive play within reasonable logistical parameters.
Resolution Offered: Recognizing that your daughter's experience *** not have fully met your expectations, we offered a discounted rate for the following season. This gesture was intended as a goodwill offering to acknowledge your concerns and provide an opportunity for an enhanced experience in the upcoming season.
Refund Policy: As outlined in our registration agreement, which all participants and their guardians agree to at the time of registration, we have a no-refund policy. This policy is in place due to the upfront costs associated with organizing teams, scheduling games, securing facilities, and other administrative expenses.

We are committed to continuously improving our programs and the experiences of our athletes and their families. We would be more than willing to discuss this matter further and explore additional ways we might address your concerns within the framework of our policies.
