On or about May 15, 2023, I got a car wash from Finish Line in Marion, IL. The attendant ask if I would like unlimited washes for the month for an extra $5. Which I agreed to. This brought my total to approximately $25. The attendant put all my information into the kiosk and gave me a bar code sticker. The following month I was charged $29.99 as a reoccurring charge, I did not agree or consent to reoccurring charges. The corporate office refused to refund the charge even though it had not cleared and was pending. This business is using deceptive practices and attendants are signing up customers for memberships with reoccurring charges without the customer knowing or consenting to the charges and refusing to refund these charges when it is finally caught, citing “company policy”. This resulted in having to cancel my credit card due to the fraud and have a new card issued. Corporate also tried to tell me that an email that was sent (which I never received) that was an agreement for the billing.

      Good morning,
When a customer is signing up for a membership with our company, they go through a screen flow which explains that their credit card will be charged on the same day of every month starting the day they sign up; see attached file. At the bottom of the screen the customer must initial / sign, showing that they understand these terms and conditions. All employees on site are trained since day one of employment that customers are to initial / sign on this screen before moving forward. On that screen it also explains cancellations require a 7-day notice prior to billing cycle.

We had entered the car wash and exited the carwash. When we arrived home we noticed that we were missing a piece of trim that was located below the passenger side door. So, we returned to the carwash. The manager on duty gave us the trim that was knocked off and he took pictures. As, far as I know she is the one that filed the compliant and we received something in the mail that states that they are not going to fix the trimming and my husband reached out to them twice and they have emailed my husband. My husband has responded to those emails twice. I would like the trim repaired.

At our Marion, IL location we have two disclaimer signs before the wash: one before the pay station and one after the pay station before the tunnel. These disclaimers explain that we are responsible for damages caused only by a car wash malfunction. Based on our intensive review of the data we have been unable to find any equipment malfunctions which may have contributed to the situation.

I went through the car wash in ******, Il and it broke off a piece plastic from the car. It was on the passenger side of the car on the back door. I let the company know about it. They said that their video was okay when I went through. I got an estimate any way. I provided them that estimate. When I talked to a manager today he said there was no way they were going to cover the cost of the repair. The estimate was less than $200.

While we appreciate ******************** complaint, we have communicated with him multiple times about the damage to his vehicle having been done prior to going through our wash. We have clear and direct disclaimers on site that make mention of not being responsible for previous damage not caused by our washes.
