In February of last year. For my 2016 Harley Davidson. I wrote the check in the amount of $306.23 to Scott Credit Union. They cashed the check for $612.42 which is a double payment. The check was only written for one single payment. I called them when I seen that online. I called corporate I asked them why were they in my bank account like this. they stated that I wrote the check for a double payment. I informed them that I did not and it is bank fraud, and take the extra payment and apply it to next month. Then I received a bill in the mail the following month (March) and that bill said that I owed for two months. I asked them to transfer the payment from January to February. Then I drove to the business and requested to speak to the bank manager. I showed the manager all the bank statements and, checks. The manager stated that they should not have cashed the check. They should have called me. She took all my paper work and informed to give a couple of weeks to work on this. A few weeks went by and I did not hear from the bank manger. So, I called her and she stated that she is still working on and I asked her how this is not going to affect my credit score. She stated that she would not allow that to happen. Another two weeks went by and she informed me that they could not move a lump sum payment to another month even though I wrote the check wrong and they cashed the check that should not have been cashed. I stated that because of you guys mistake I have to swallow this mistake. I checked my credit score and it states that I have missed one Scott payment. I would like for them to take the delinquent payment off my credit score.Business response

We spoke with the consumer in April and have resolved the issue with him. I apologize as I have overlooked my response to this complaint but this has been resolved.
