I hired 5 Brothers to do a job for me. They destroyed my brand new counters they were installing a value of 630$. The cuts on the counters were so bad it was beyond repair. They agreed to reimburse me for the counters but have not. I also wanted to have a backsplash installed and they added it to my invoice at a later date and charged me for half of it but never started it.

1st backsplash was never paid for due to the fact the window install cost and sliding door.  $630 was reimbursed 1/12/2023 on Venmo and i have proof it was paid,.  This customer is not one i would recommend anyone to work for.  He starts drinking at 10am in the morning and by noon he is all in your jobs touching moving and messing things up.  He is supposed to be working for ****** (teleworking) but is drinking which violates the telework agreement.  I have already talked to a few upper level people i know at ****** and they are investigating this.  All this customer had to do was let us do our job.  We would set something in place for measurement and fit and he would tell us we didn’t know what we were doing and it was wrong. The more he drinks the more he’s all in the job even to the point my workers felt uncomfortable because he was standing under our ladders and such.  We would ask him to move he would just take a sip of his drink and say “im grown, I don’t need to move”.   To me he was looking to get all work done for free and we have proof of his drinking which pictures and date stamps where forwarded to ******.  I’ve been employed by ****** and have a long military career and this is unacceptable, His comments to one of my workers was racist and all he kept doing is referring to his as the Mexican guy and his comment of I’ve never met a Mexican that works like him. This was a nightmare job we were trying to finish but the customer would not let us complete the job even with the understanding of letting us finish the job before he casted opinions.  We were not able to finish anything due to him touching everything we were doing.  The counter tops was just placed in place for us to come back and he decided to shim them on his own when we were not ready to do any of that.  This guy is a racist, drunk and was paid for the countertops he touched when we left for the day.  So he is reimbursed.
