    November 22nd I drove my 26 foot truck to JCL truck repair for a replacement of a malfunctioning sensor. After the diagnostics the technician said it was the oil pump and that replacement, labor and oil change would cost $2600, I agreed to the repair. I was contacted on 11/23/22 and told the truck needed some additional repairs that they had already completed without notifying me prior to the repair. I objected and was told they had to because it was in bad shape. The amount was now $5837.90 and they gave me a payment plan for the remaining balance. When I went to pick the truck up on 11/29/22 the truck had the check engine light on and I was told once the oil pressure normalized it would go away. I left the shop and went to work that night at 5:12 a.m. the truck engine stopped and I was having problems getting it to start. The truck was towed back to JCL that morning on 11/30/22, less than 24 hours after taking it out of the shop. Now the shop owner *************************** and his staff were now hostile and complaining the truck was back. The receipt, attached, shows the truck has a 30 day warranty and they were stating the issue was caused by another part not previously replaced. I finally was told the truck was repaired and ready to be picked up on 12/2/22. The check engine was still on and the truck had not been repaired. The technicians and owner insisted the truck had been repaired and they refused to do any further work on the truck even though the warranty is for 30 days. I told **************** couldn't take the truck like this and he told me they would charge me a storage fee if I left the truck. The check engine is caused by the *** solenoid sensor, according to the fault code log, document attached. This is the 3rd part on the receipt, also attached, which shows it was one of the parts they supposedly replaced. The staff and owner became hostile and I had to pay an additional $1000 before they would let me take the truck or pay storage fee for a truck they weren't going to work on. The receipt shows false charges like Antifreeze 6 gl for $84 when the truck only uses 1 gl. I requested receipts from all of the parts and they didn't have any of them available. All I needed was to repair my truck which is my source of income. I have lost income, peace of mind and sleep due to this place and I have been left without any additional money to complete the repair. I am filing this complaint with the BBB, and if this is not the correct agency please point me in the right direction.Thank you in advance.
