      Dropped off the vehicle to have brakes done. I missed their call & I called them back multiple times I went to pick up the car from the ******* store and not only was their HOURS posted different than all other Midas stores but they had my vehicle locked inside the store and I was stuck at their location leaving me without transportation for 2 days. Upon the following Monday I went to pick up my car and they still had not completed the work because they said that they had not started it at all because they didnt hear from me. I showed the owner I had called multiple times. I waited some more becoming late to work again and then the charge went from 150$ to over 450$. They said I needed rotors as well and waiting several more hours I finally got out of there. Since they worked on it the brakes have been tight, squeaking, and grinding so I went to another Midas and they said the rotors and brakes were so misaligned that I needed to take it all the way back to the McH midas for the warranty to be accepted and probably should get it towed.I called them letting them know they had not repaired the vehicle and the chicagoland Midas store had reccomending having the car towed to the shop because of the danger to myself and child in the car. My wife took the baby to the sitter and upon arriving at the Midas was basically told she needed to come back in 2 weeks.The car was a danger to drive because of their poor work and they wanted her to sit around all day only for them to maybe look at the vehicle. I had not booked an appointment and the person who answered the phone assured me they would get me in. They booked an appointment for a time slot that there was no way we would be at considering I told them I was coming from *******. They refused to look at the vehicle or do anything despite having already paid and a warranty on their work. The wife drove the vehicle AGAIN putting herself in danger of brake failure to their ************** location. This has been a nightmare.

      I apologize to the Martens family for their inconveniences.  We strive is to use quality parts and fix it right the first time.  In this case we didn't succeed.  I am sorry when you returned because of the noises it was making we didn't and weren't able to have a service bay open for some time.  That is why ***** set up the *************** location to inspect it.  *************** didn't find anything wrong, but did replace the brakes as a matter of customer satisfaction.  For your assurances, at no point was the vehicle unsafe to drive.

      For your inconveniences I am sending a $100.00 gift certificate to the Martens that they can use at the participating locations on the certificate.
