Counseling appointments: 2/21, 2/28, 3/7, 3/14, 3/21, 3/28, 4/4, 4/25 Paid 240 on 3/4 and 220 on 3/20 ************* has paid my claims as seen by the EOBs attached; I have been asking for my refund since 3/10 and they first said they would credit my charge card, but they never did. Then they said they would send me a check and they never did. I stopped getting services because they did not give me my money back hoping this would get them to do it but they haven't. I tried to dispute it with my credit card, but they cannot use EOBs as evidence; however, I have never even received a statement from them. They have double-dipped on payment from the insurance company as well as taking my money. Because I can't get my money back, I hope you can help me recover this. My portion after insurance would be a total of ****** which means they owe me ******Business response

The patient's insurance company initially stated that the patient did not meet her deductible. Therefore, she had to pay the full amount for her sessions until the deductible has been met. ********************* was incorrect so a refund is due to the patient. However, we did not receive all of the Explanations of Benefits (EOBs) yet for the patient's sessions. The EOBs are necessary to create the refund. We now have the EOBs and we told the patient that a check will be cut for her by the end of the month. Therefore, we're quite confused about the complaint as this has all be explained to the patient.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because they have been stating that I would get a credit card credit and when that never happened they would send a check. Neither has happened and none of the responses in the response to my complaint is true as is apparent in all correspondences which I am attaching to this email.My next step is reaching out to insurance fraud as they have BCBS money as they have paid the claims as well as my money. I do not believe they will follow through to send a check at the end of the month as this has been told to me for several months now.Ideally, I want my credit card charged ASAP or I will pick up a check ASAP.Thank you for your help in trying to resolve this matter,

The refund has been processed and it was sent to the patient via certified mail. The patient will receive the refund check Tuesday due to the Memorial Day holiday. As we stated to the patient, the refund was to be sent by the end of the month which it has.Customer response
