This company was hired by ****** Home Improvement. Ultimate Home Services came out and measured my kitchen floor for the flooring. The flooring was over measured by four cases which I received a refund from ****** of $232 yes I do have a half a case extra and a bunch of half pieces so this was well over measured for their benefit. So I had someone else install the flooring not knowing what this company was up to. Unfortunately I had to have this company for my carpeting and then come to find out they hire another party out. So I'm dealing with ******, ultimate Home Services, and a flooring contractor I do not even know the name of. The floor was done by the flooring contractor for the carpet and the carpet was over measured by 146 Square ft. The price with the padding was $6 Plus per square feet. Nobody will notify you are back from Ultimate Home Services. ****** is having me bring in all the extra carpet and they are going to reimburse me which is a good thing. The only problem is ****** has this major contract with these people and they can't even believe that they did this. I had questions about the transitions and was told by ultimate home services that the installers would have all the equipment and everything I need for the transitions. I was told they only have gold and silver in which I didn't like what was told I can purchase my own in which I did. The contractor comes in and says we don't do that but we will put them in for you. Why did Ultimate ************ say they only give you gold and silver if they don't do it at all. This is a company that tells you what they think you want to hear to try to make them look good. Unfortunately I would have to recommend other companies or go straight to a flooring company to have your carpet installed not awesome in home service. The carpet and kitchen floor with both measured with a laser to make it so much simpler so this company did know what they were doing by over estimating.
