On August 11th the company picked up my Truck for shipment from ************* to ***** (through Montway) for a fee of ~$1700. On August 14th my vehicle was dropped off with significant damage. I have a pickup truck that had a custom made hard plastic bed cover. The driver informed me that it ripped off during the first day of the trip (though he waited until drop off to tell me) and besides my ~$1500 cover breaking and being left somewhere on a highway, this also damaged the sides on the bed of my truck and the roof of the vehicle. The driver admitted the damage took place and indicated as much in the bill of landing. I spoke with his company and they said they would provide their insurance information. Despite numerous emails and phone calls I still have not received their insurance information which I need to get my truck repaired. I'm filing a complaint because 1) a professional transport company should be smarter than to place a pickup truck as the lead vehicle on a trailer facing backwards when it has a cover (Exposing the cover to ***** mph winds for the entire duration, and 2) because now that the vehicle has been dropped off and the company has admitted the damage occurred while the vehicle was in their care, they have failed to provide their insurance information.

My vehicle was damaged during transport. After some time trying to contact them, they are not responding to any of my communications. I Have filed a claim with their insurance company, who has assessed the damaged and found that the claim needs to be paid, but it below the deductible for their policy. I am still trying to get in contact with them to pay for the damages.

I used GIG Logistics **** through a broker (Auto Freight Carriers, LLC) to ship my car from ******** to *****. PDF from GIG is attached.Summary:The company's lie forced me to wait for my car's key for 11 days in vain. The company lied that they would pay for the locksmith -- I still need to get this reimbursement. Below I detail what happened and happening:My car was delivered to my apartment in ***** on 6/28/2022, and the leasing office helped to receive the car. The driver took my car's key with him despite that the leasing office people asked him to leave it several times. The driver's team, a customer service *************), directed the driver to return to my apartment, but it didn't happen. The customer service and I asked him to mail the key asap. In response to this, the driver notified me that he sent the key on 6/28/2022, which later (on 7/13) turned out to be a lie.On 7/8/2022, since I still hadn't received the key, the customer service agreed that they lost the key and agreed to reimburse my locksmith cost for a replacement key. So I got a new key and sent the staff with the receipt and my info for the reimbursement. They didn't reimburse it although I asked them to do so on later 7/8/2022 and also on 7/11/2022, Mysteriously, however, they sent me back the key on 7/11/2022 ****** shipping date), and I received it on 7/13/2022 -- which means that the key was sitting there till 7/11/2022, and they were lying about the shipping the mail. They haven't reimbursed it as of today (7/18/2022).On the basis of their lies, I was forced to wait for 11 days and to use Uber ($97.72).More importantly, they lied that they would pay for the locksmith ($391.87). Although I got the key back, they still need to pay for it because I already paid for it and they promised to reimburse it.These happened right after my long move and I couldn't setup my new life for 11 days; it's been so frustrating.
