I rented a Moon Jump from them that did not work properly. After the Moon Jump collapsed on the children while inside and we had to pull them out, I contact the company and spoke with ***** the owner and he said this happened at another event and he drove an hour to fix it but it was something they did. After two attempts at this on Saturday 8/27/22, I had to tell the children they couldnt play. We left it deflated with the generator running. Called them back on Monday, spoke again with the owner *****, told me the same story, told me I did something to make it not work, I told him we followed the directions of the individuals who put it up. He called me a liar and he was not going to give me my money back. I told him why would I lie about something like that. He continued to belittle me and call me a liar again and said to me to rent from someone else the next time and hung the phone up on me. I called back and the lady that answered, and I said I just spoke with you and you transferred me to the owner, she said it was not her, I believed it was explained what was going on and she goes on to say I was calling her a liar. I apologized to her, she gave me to the person I was speaking with named ****. She was nice and understanding the first call, but was rude the second call. Im so upset that a business can do you this way and not offer Im sorry or any type of accommodation. I paid $448 to this company and the children at my event could not enjoy it. Thank you for the message, there are always two sides to every story. When the first call came in on the event date, I took the phone call. It was difficult to understand the lady and her speech was slurred. I addressed the issue over the phone and the issue was resolved The first complaint was "the generator wasn't working" I walked them through how to restart the generator and I was told the inflatables was now going up. I explained to her that in a previous week I had the same issue with another customer, it was determined that the kids were shutting off the generator and the jump kept collapsing. It was no different with this event, the kids were shutting off the generator. I suggested adult supervision to make sure the equipment wasn't used improperly. She didn't seem thrilled with my suggestion.
I was at the office from 6am to 9:30pm on that event date, no additional phone calls were received or missed from this client for the remainder of the day. We have a call log that were able to track. All indications from our first call represented itself as all issues had been resolved.
Monday morning, my office received a phone call from the same lady and she was asking, "what are we going to do for her?". I took the call and discussed the matter and I gave her the facts of my finds based on our initial phone call. She wasn't happy and very unpleasant on the phone. I explained to her that our first phone call on event day, was determined the issues were resolved. She told me that she placed several calls on on the event date, I checked the call log and messages, she never tried to call again. She then asked me if I was calling her a liar, I then said, I'm just giving you the facts. She demanded her money back and I told her no. Then she began to be disrespectful and I hung up the phone.
She then called back moments later and a different lady in my office answered the phone and she started yelling at her. The lady that answered the phone had no ideas who she was or what her issue was. The customer then called office person a liar and stated she knew who exactly she was. I took her phone call, again. She started yelling, I told her not to call here again and to call another company next time and I refuse to work with a customer of this nature.
One week later, I get this email.
In closing, we provided a service and the service was fulfilled at a fair price.
I'm sorry she wasn't, we did everything right.

I am rejecting this response because: the owner is not telling the truth, no I did call him back, I just left the generator running and did not let the children go that way because it was no working properly. He did not walk me through. I had over 100 witnesses at my event and several people had to run to help me get the kids out that was trapped in the moon jump. This event was in honor of me so I did not call him back. My voice was not slurred, he understood me, no children were allowed near the generator. We were able to get to the moon jump to help the children that was trapped inside. Im not sure what he was insinuating about my voice being slurred, but I fine it very offensive. When his workers came to pick it up I explained to them and they said we only pick up. Again when I called him back on Monday to explain what happened, he was not trying to hear what I was saying to him. He we on to call me a liar and he was not give my money back. I paid him over $400 for nothing. I want my money back. His response was not truthful. I posted how unsatisfied I was and he deleted it from his website. He is a poor excuse for a owner and has poor customer service skills. You just dont call a customer a liar and tell them next time use someone else, and Im not giving you your money back. I became emotional because I have not ever had to deal with anyone like him in my life. He is rude and have not respect for his customers.

I explained exactly what took place, I'm sorry your not happy with the truth of the matter. We have been in business for 22 years, we handle **** events a year. We built our business on customer care and responsiveness. We provided a good product at a fair price. I'm sorry your not happy with our services. I would recommend using another company that will satisfy you. In your note, you mentioned a review on my website and I deleted it? I have a company that accesses and maintains our website, I cannot add or delete information. Therefore, I can't believe anything that you have written.

I am rejecting this response because:
The product that was sent to my event was not working properly and you knew it. You state you have issues two weeks before my event with the same bounce house and you went to see about it, yet I was never given that opportunity for you to fix what was not working properly. Again, the children were no able to enjoy your equipment and it never inflated properly throughout my entire event. You should as an owner should want to accommodate for you defective bounce house. Even if it was not for my entire amount at least refund me half of my money back. You as an owner should not have called me as a customer a liar and tell me to use someone else next time. This is so unfair to me and the children that came out to my event that all they could do is look at something that was not working. Being a owner of a company, you should have some type of compassion for your customers and not be rude, and Im sorry is not enough when I gave you my hard earned money for something that did not .
