  My 9 y/o son & 6 y/o daughter registered a couple months ago to play tackle football & cheerleading after a ***** inquired if we would like to have my son play there. We decided 8 days ago (7/13/23) to no longer play with this organization since the football ***** became a full time travel head ***** and told one of my parents of two players from the last 2 years during tryouts to tryout for his team if he wants to play on his football team. I asked for a refund since nothing has started incl. equipment and we joined another team for my 2 kids. They informed me there is a no refund policy for my ************** regarding the $312.50 charge or $131.38 charge. I was told that this has nothing to do with football but the newly named head ******* asst. ******* promised my baseball travel players spots with their team on 7/12 per the father of my baseball players so my family would no longer like anything to do with playing on his football team. We have now been unable to resolve the issue and I have been threatened by legal action when I have not badmouthed the organization was stated I would take action through your organization if they chose to not honor the refund since no services was conducted and gained 2 players of mine using football as a conduit in the equation. I just want my money back for my kids ($443.88 total charges) as they are playing for the more local organization in the same league now as the head ******* asst. ***** harmed my sons baseball team as a direct result leading to a conflict of interests. For there to be no consideration when all we have received was one email makes me feel is possible retaliation as other organizations such as baseball will refund money for players who leave halfway during the season for example. This is a moral issue and dilemma for my kids which is unfair as now they cannot play for this team due to a breakdown of trust and psychological harm to my son who feels this ***** betrayed him personally.

  Mid-Crest Panthers Football and Cheer operates as a non-profit organization. All sales are final as explained on our website and in-person registration. We do not bunch our prices with any other sport. We're also not associated with any other sport or team not named Mid-Crest Panthers Football and Cheer. We are apart of the South West Midget Football League.

  I am rejecting this response because:
  

  Both of my children who were registered months ago requested to unregister prior to any camps, practices or equipment were distributed.

  Irregardless of differences regarding the head football ***** who requested my son play on his team, no player or family should be penalized for quitting prior to the season beginning especially if players joining the organization after the registration period ended can continue to sign up. 

  The newest head ***** & asst. ***** with this organization contacted a parent on my travel baseball team to come to their baseball tryout one day after mine was over.  This parent informed me they were doing their baseball tryout since the same 2 *****es were allowing them to join their football team late.  

  After discovering this, I requested a refund from the ** who said he would reach out to his only contact with this organization.  2 days later, I replied to the email I received that I would appreciate a refund.  The vp called me on the phone and said there is a no refund policy.  

  Considering my son no longer wanted to play after his old football ***** recruited my baseball players to their team & never started, it is only fair both he and my daughters registration be refunded since we had to place them in a separate organization.

  I have not made any negative comments regarding this organization to anybody outside of the person I spoke to & assumed has replied- ****.  
  

  To keep >$440 for both my kids to not play considering we requested a refund due to a unforeseen circumstance in which my son & daughter no longer wanted to play for this organization & now my wife & I have paid for another football organization (Oak Forest Raiders) for both kids is a significant undue burden on any family especially since we have another son playing football as well & have to pay for travel baseball ($1500 x 2) at the same time this week is sad.  

  We should not have to pay for a team in which my son will now play against or my daughyer will now cheer against.  My kids, my wife & I had a safety concern regarding our children playing for these *****es as they have broken their trust with our family.
