    I have hot water coming out of all faucets when I turn on cold. This was reported Sept. ,5, 2023. I have temps in the 80's all day and night. My thermostat isn't on, The boiler isn't on. This was reported 9/11/23. A man named **** came to my apartment twice. First time he said he didn't know about boilers but said he tell Ginco to send a company to check it out. Supposedly a company came, **** told me when he came to my apartment the second time last Tuesday. All I was told was the boiler man said the boiler was not on. **** said he would call the boiler company and I thought he said he was calling someone at Ginco. Then **** asked if I had wet spots on the carpet. I have heat that comes through the floor. I said no wet spots and he reported this to someone and he was told they were going to try to find a company that checked for underground leaks. Nobody has contacted me about how they will solve these problems. I have left multiple messages for someone named ******, at Ginco who is a maintenance manager. No response. I have to run my a/c multiple times a day to try and cool off. I am on SSI and I am afraid of what my next electric bill will be.I want the problems repaired. I have lived here since 3/29/22 and never had either of these problems. This is unbearable.

    The staff of this company are malicious and retaliatory individuals who have zero regard for the needs and rights of their tenants. During my tenancy, I experienced multiple violations of my lease, followed by extended periods of passive aggressive and retaliatory behavior from members of their team.Their workers shut off water repeatedly with no prior notice. They also allowed workers to demand access to tenants' units without any prior notice by repeatedly harassing tenants for hours at a time (at least three to four) by repeatedly and intermittently knocking on their doors. Not one member of the property management team attempted to notify tenants in advance by any of the many means available to them (post, text, email or voicemail message).Due to their failure to properly supervise and manage their workers, I was eventually forced to call the police on them after they boldly drilled out my window in an attempt to enter through it and gain illegal access to my unit. After this incident, Ginco refused to respond to any of my subsequent work requests. After I threatened to withhold rent if the work was not done, they did the work, but retaliated by immediately adding a false ComEd charge of almost four hundred dollars to my account ledger. When I asked them to prove that the charge was mine, they waited four weeks to respond with a ComEd bill that was clearly in their name, and worse, was clearly for a different unit. When I pointed this out, they never responded back. Their behavior was clearly malicious and retaliatory, which is what I stated they were at the outset. They put a false charge on my account ledger for no other reason than to cause me upset and distress for having the audacity to ask them to do their jobs.If you want to work with a property management company who has integrity; who will treat you with respect; and who will not retaliate against you when you assert your rights, then you'll definitely want to avoid Ginco Management Inc.
