I was inquiring about a property that was listed by ********************* with real people realty 8458 s ********* there was a viewing on Monday 7/22/24 between the hours of 1-2:30 she stated that the property owner was going to help make decisions on the property there was multiple families to view the property which all paid the $49 application fee i was talking to a young lady at my job today 7/24/24 about finding a place we both mentioned the house on ********* she told me that **** was her best friend told her the landlord picked her to send her her paper worker after telling me theres no updates on the property the young lady showed this property to multiple people got the application fee knowing she was going to pick her best friend for the property i seen proof that she messaged her asking for her voucher information and she was picked and ignored my message her company needs to know she is scamming people out of their money i want my application fee back she knew she told her friend about the property and was going to pick her and got at least 10 people out of application fees she needs to be reported to her employer as wellBusiness response

As the listing company for the landlord, we only market properties for prospective tenants. We do not manage property, and we do not make the decision on who the property is rented to. The landlord reviews the applications and makes the decision on who the property is rented to. We also do not receive money for rental applications, this is done through a third-party company (in this case Rental Beast) and the money is paid directly to that company. Our policy is to inform the prospective tenant of the landlords requirements and that there may be multiple people applying for the property so people do not spend money on applications that they do not qualify for, and that they realize the landlord will be choosing the most qualified person from multiple applications. As per our conversation the property was not leased to your coworker or a friend of our agents, this decision was solely made by the landlord.We work hard to make sure everyone we come in contact with receives the best possible service and is well informed on the process of their transaction. We are sorry that your application was not chosen by the landlord and even though your application fee was never paid to us we have issued you a refund. We wish you well on your rental search and are always available if you have anything further you would like to discuss.
