I have had solar installed in my home and was promised rebate from the state of ill .Also i have now developed a leak under said solar panels. I have been texting emailing calling and leaving messages for 5 to 6 months .And have gotten no answers to date .Can you please help me resolve this issue. thank you in advance.Initial Complaint

I had a solar panel system installed during the summer of 2023 by Revolution Solar, but they never completed it. I did not know that it was incomplete until I was told by them to have the electric company send someone over to turn the system on. When the man from the electric company came to do so, he said that he could not because Revolution Solar had never wired the system into my house's electrical system. Until they did so, the system could not be switched on. I have contacted Revolution Solar about this many times for over six months, and they gave me the runaround for a while until they completely stopped answering. I sent emails, made phone calls, sent text messages, and messaged their ******** page. Nobody ever answers or returns calls or messages.Initial Complaint

Our solar system was installed and finally working 11-08-23 by Revolution Solar. It took them a long time and many calls to get them to act. Now that I know they are out of business and unreachable, is there any way to get the warranty information or who to contact if any repairs are required. We were told that there was a 30 year product and labor warranty. I have no paperwork or contact information as to who might back that warranty. HELP!Initial Complaint

In September of 2023 Revolution solar installed a solar system that is too small for my house. It does not power my house independently and I am still drawing electricity through the grid. They also have not given me my rebate money from IL. I believe they stole it. They have ceased all contact with me. They have been suspended from ILL shines program due to mishandling for the tax credits and failure to finish projects and put it correct products.Initial Complaint

Revolution Solar installed panels on my home, set me up with a loan that I did NOT know about and disappeared. The panels never passed inspection, they were never turned on, now I am left with a loan that I did not ask for for something that I later found out wasn't supposed to be installed in the first place. Basically, what I see it that they purposefully committed fraud. They knew they would not pass inspection because my electrical panel is too old. Which means, they were supposed to either have me update the panel before installation or turn down the job. Instead, they installed the panels then disappeared.I would like them to either remove the panels and restore my roof at no charge to me since they purposefully committed fraud or remove the charges.Initial Complaint

I purchased a solar project on Dec 13th, 2023 from Revolution Solar with an office based in ******, **. In January, I was still communicating with them and in early spring had an employee come out to my house to do the site survey and complete the plans. I was told it would take several months before they could come install the panels because they had a lot of work.I went to do a follow up a few months ago and none of the phone numbers worked and the website is down. I was never told that the company went out of business, or was transferred to any other company. I have a signed contract and now a loan for solar panels that were NEVER installed. My solar panels were installed before Christmas 2023. They still have not been connected with ******. I have attempted for 6 months to get an email, text, or callback from them. I have tried numerous times to get in touch with someone from ************* Group (lender) and no one will call back to initiate a clawback of funds. I was told by Roof Tiger/ Solar Panther that Revolution Solar no longer has a business license in IL. How do I move forward in order to get my solar panels connected with Ameren??Initial Complaint

In July of 2023 Revolution Solar installed solar panels on my propertywith a 25 yr warranty and they were to apply on my behalf for Illinois State Incentive program for rebate. I have tried many ways to contact the company to inquire into the progress of the incentiveto no avail. Should I need assistance with the solar panels I have no way to contact this company, Seems a breach of contract. The company that sold the contract USA Clean Energy Association ********************************************* . This company installed solar panels on my roof. I was to receive almost $6,000 from Illinois Shines SREC program via Revolution Solar. Why the state of Illinois doesn't send the rebate check directly to the homeowners instead of the vendor makes absolutely no sense; it is a setup for vendors to steal the money. This vendor should have to sell their assets to repay their customers rather than ******* no business with Illinois Shines. And, where is the guarantee that they will send the rebates to their customers? Illinois Shines program should be held accountable for this travesty. There should be class action lawsuits against the vendors AND the Illinois Shines program.
