State Farm accidentally charged my checking account on the wrong day. August 15th which made my account negative. In return bouncing 4 bills. I have documented proof it was supposed to come out on the 20th. State Farm made a refund which will take five business days. IHMVCU returned 2 of the 4 courtesy fee payments not the other 2. Even though I had documentation showing State Farm failed to withdrawal on the correct date.

Employee named **** spoke with my wife ********************************************** when she called in to make a car payment and suggested setting up a bi weekly auto withdraw payment schedule saying that there is a 10 day grace ****** for payments and everything will come automatically out and then she would not have to call to make a payments. So the credit union was taking a $250 dollar payment on the 10th and one on the 20th of each month to cover a $487 car payment for the ********** outlander. What has happened was that they were saying each payment has been late and then charged an additional $30 for each late payment which they ae now saying the account is delinquent 71 days with $1301.50 in late fees. No one has ever called or sent letters stating late payments or late fees and has caused my credit to drop 81 points in @ 7 months when I have had no prior history of late payments. I have filed disputes with to credit reporting agencies over this issue. My credit has dropped from the high 700s down to a fair rating in the 640s which my credit has never been that low. Now if I want to transfer loans to another bank they will pull a credit history and see issues and then raise the interest rate for loan transfer.

On 5/14/2023, IHMVCU ran a hard credit inquiry (that was visible to me 5/16/2023) from my Transunion credit report, with preapproval transaction code ******. On 5/15/2023, I received a telephone call from IHMVCU's employee *** regarding the credit card application, stating that he needed to begin collecting and verifying additional information verbally via the telephone, as the 709 score and all other factors like debt to income and credit card utilization were within normal limits as expected, so this was great news. After verifying, he called back and stated that I did not meet preliminary qualifications due to my address, as my primary residence is in *******. I mentioned that I have been a member for 20 plus years and just opened a Certificate deposit account on 2/25/2023, this was a non-factor then, and my address was current on my checking and savings accounts as well. I stated that the inquiry should be removed if the preliminary qualifications had not been met, as my credit should never had been ran for a hard pull, let alone pre-approved. Especially because they should have my best interests in mind as my banker, however they demoted the idea verbally and refused to remove the inquiry from my credit report, as ***'s manager ******** stated, "it is just an inquiry". This is not good business that IH is doing for the betterment of their loyal customers, especially us that were born and raised in the Quad Cities. I am also working very hard to raise and maintain my credit score as a single parent. I don't need uncertainty in approval standards or false advertising, I just simply don't need to bank with them in the future. They were dishonest in stating to my mother and I that they provided home loans and credit cards to ******* property when we got the CD account in February, now that I apply for one, they don't? Thankfully it wasn't a mortgage that I applied for!!

Me and my fianc got a vehicle from a dealer ship they set us up with ihmvcu. Back in august we made a couple payments and then had to switch jobs and got a couple months behind they said we could be 90 days behind before they would even repossess it but they repossessed it only being 62 days behind and they never sent out any letter or anything stating that they were issuing a repossession. They followed my fiancs mom around town trying to find the vehicle and her information was no where in our account. When we called to try and dispute this everyone we talked to was so rude and didnt want to help us even get it back. They were telling us that they never said what they had said in our previous conversation about how far behind we could get and that they would roll one of the late payments to the end of the loan. When calling them the automated voice says that they record the calls for training and insurance purposes but yet they proceed to tell us that one specific phone call was not recorded. We asked for a manager and every time we asked for a manager they would change the subject. The one time I got them to answer me about talking to a manager they said it wasnt necessary. I told them it was definitely necessary and then they got even more rude with me stating that there was nothing that could be done. I called back again today to try and speak with someone else about getting the vehicle back because they never called me back with options to get it back. They stated that it was past the 21 days so there was nothing to be done but this is not my fault considering they never gave a me a call back to see what my options were and it is has only 24 days and they cant do nothing. I believe they have done several things they shouldnt have and I also believe they unlawfully repossessed the vehicle.

IHMVCU erroneously filed a notice with the credit bureaus saying I was late paying a mortgage in Aug 2021. They have admitted this was an error on their part in several emails and have emailed me copies of the July and August 2021 statements as proof. I have asked them four days in a row now for a letter, required by the credit bureaus, indicating this was an error and that my credit history should be revised. I have spoken with four different staff people plus left a voicemail for the President and for his Executive Assistant. All to no avail. I have outstanding credit and this is holding up the process of approval on a mortgage Im trying to get on a different house. I stand to lose $5,000 in ******* money as a result because we now have less than two weeks to close on the house and that will be impossible if we cannot get the mortgage approved now. As recently as yesterday a staff person assured my mortgage broker she has the letter drafted and had given it to her supervisor to sign. Today, the feedback now is it has to be sent up the flagpole. This is very possibly going to not only cause me to lose the house, but lose my ******* money.
