On 04/10/2022 around 1 AM, I checked in with my girls, we got to our rooms changed clothes and I got the girls settled down getting ready to finally drift off to sleep when my 6 year old jumped up from her bed and screamed bugs were in her bed. I asked what does she mean and immediately turned on my flash light to see tiny red bugs that very much so resembled bed bugs, and I took photos and immediately took them to alert the gentleman at the front desk. He offered to switch my room which I said absolutely not because of my room was infested that means every room would be and I have my 6 year old and my 8 month old baby sleeping here. He told me he can not give me a refund only his boss does those and gave me her contact information; even though at this point we were only in our room for 3ish hours before these bugs started coming out crawling on my daughters bed. I spotted 3!!! He was very nonchalant when I told him this information like hes heard it before, and his boss told me she will investigate the room and see into it because she never had complaints. I spent $84.70 on my room only to stay 3 hours due to nastiness. I deserve an refund and no argument from her end but she insisted to put up a fight with me and is very adamant about not refunding me. I have the pictures in my phone still and this lady did not ask me for my contact info so whos to know if shes really investigating or not. I am reaching out to health department as well.
