On 6/21/24, I was instructed I needed to pay Momence ********** $755 plus a 3% fee to get our propane turned back on at my residency. Upon paying my bill to them in full on 6/24/24, I called to make sure they got my payment, and I was suddenly told that I needed to send them $100 more in order for my propane to be turned back on. This was never in an agreement nor was it ever discussed in previous conversations. I was told by the office lady once I paid my bill they would turn on my propane, that has not happened yet.Business response

Dear ****,Thank you for informing us of this complaint by the above mentioned customer. In looking over her account, it shows that ***************** received propane on January 27th 2024. After 5 months of non-payment, we tried to notify ****** by phone but did not get an answer. We then left her a brief message to return our call as soon as possible to resolve this issue. After several days, we did not hear back from her and proceeded to have her tank turned off due to non payment.Our policy is to not let our receivables go past 4 months without payment or request for extension on payments.Thank You,*******************************Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: I have phone records to prove that no phone calls were made nor were any messages left per voicemail. We were never informed nor were there any warnings that you would have to pay an extra $100 to get propane turned back on after already paying the bill in full. After speaking with the office lady, she informed me I need to pay my bill in full which we did. The day I called to have it turned back on, she then informed me they needed $100 more dollars which was not mentioned per previous phone calls. We were forced to pay $100 extra dollars on top of the $700 we paid with no warning. When speaking to the office lady I was told there was nothing they can do.
