On August 4th, 2021, my 91 yr. old Father went to Aspen Dental for a cleaning. Well before you know it, they've conned him into 3 fillings, scaling and planing, anti-microbial treatment, a harsh fluoride treatment and boundless x-rays, etc. After these unnecessary procedures, my father had painfully sore gums, red painful sores and a very dry mouth. He couldn't eat his favorite foods without his gums hurting and lost 15 pounds he couldn't afford to lose; he was already skinny! He became very depressed and suffered being in constant pain. They told him to buy a $100 mouth wash, didn't help. He drove in at least 20 times complaining about his mouth pain, dry mouth and sore gums. I was in town from LA and came in the office with my father on May 3rd. The dentist was so rude, she called me a liar!!! Not professional. She said his gums were not caused by their office or procedures. They've recommended him to see a Periodontist. He went and now they want to do a biopsy on his mouth sore. Another painful procedure. I told Aspen I want a refund for all the pain and suffering he received. I didn't even ask for the full amount, only $1000 but now I'm seeking the full amount, $2,238.00. My Dad didn't need these invasive expensive treatments that made his gums worse. Between May and August, I've sent several e-mail requests to the office manager ******, with no resolve except him saying that my father has an autoimmune disorder, so wrong!!! On August 9th, I spoke with ******, the account manager who was very rude and flippant on the phone. She said if your father didn't need these treatments, why didn't he say so? WHAT? He was listening to the Dentist and thought he needed these treatments. They have zero empathy and only think of upsells, especially taking advantage of the elderly. They are frauds. I told them I would be contacting the BBB, write scathing reviews on all platforms, take them to small claims court, etc.

They should not be in business I live across the street from them. I went there to have a wisdom tooth removed. Also I have Delta Dental PPO. The oral surgeon there was on the list from my insurance that I could use All I wanted was the removal of this tooth. When I got in the the dentist on duty there took a whole slew of X-rays and wanted to sell me the world. The office manager whose name was ***** gave me prices that I could not afford for new teeth. What kind of baloney is this. I was there on 10/31/2023. I would warn people not to use Aspen for any dental work My regular dentist did not want to pull this tooth and told me to see an oral surgeon. So this is what I did. Aspen Dental wants your money up front and does not file claims with a persons insurance. They should be put out of business.
