Warranty Issue:I have purchased an outdoor Gazebo on Aug, 2023 through Walmart..com. There has some parts has been broken a few weeks ago and got big damaged due to ** storm. I have submitted warranty service since still in 12 months now. They have refused the service request because they dont take responsibility for nature climatic factors. Actually the roof has been bent before CA storm. I think they need to take responsibility for warranty service. If not, they should give me the solution way.Initial Complaint

I purchased 2 outdoor chairs from Big Lots. The brand is ******** who has a 5 year warranty. However Big Lots purchased Broyhill and now has Sunjoy Group manufacturing the furniture. It is past the one year return period for Big Lots so they said to contact Sunjoy for replacement parts. The rattan on the two chairs is brittle, cracking and just falling to the floor. It's the entire chair!! Sunjoy does not have replacement parts for these chairs and had not responded to emails asking for another purchase option. I made a complaint with the BBB towards Big Lots but it was determined that Sunjoy was who is responsible.Initial Complaint

In June 2023 I order** a replacement canopy for our Regency II Gazebo bas** on the model number in the owners manual which came with the Regency II Gazebo when it was purchas** a new a couple of years ago. The cost of the replacement was ****** Once the replacement canopy arriv** I went to put it on the metal frame only to discover it was approximately 3 inches in width short. I contact** the company was told that I must have the model with an E was told I would be charg** a restocking fee and ***** and how to repack the canopy in all of its original packaging, I would be sent the next day a return shipping label. Next day came no shipping label in my email. I contact** the company again was told the shipping label maker was down and to just keep the canopy. My wife, *******, contact** the company and question** why we were being charg** a restocking fee for an item that does not fit bas** on the model number and being told to keep the canopy. one of the representatives for the company said to soak it with water it will stretch and fit, my husband soak ** it 3 times still did not fit he sent the company photos of canopy not fitting After multiple phone calls emails back and forth my wife was inform** a ***** cr**it had been appli**. On April 28 2023 I filed a claim with the SunJoy Group for coverage of a Broyhill Gazebo where the canopy dry rotted over the winter where it was packed in the original box for storage and the screen faded. The Gazebo was still under the 1 year warranty. It was purchased June 3, 2022. They requested pictures of the tear and a copy of the receipt which I submitted on April 30, 2023. I requested an update status of my claim on May 8, 9, and 14th with no answer. I sent all the information again to the SunJoy Group on May 16th requesting an update and have not received a status. We have purchased a gazebo for $800 intern they never sent the parts to put the gazebo together as far as the nuts and bolts which I found out later most companies send you what you need I contacted them about it after trying to order it myself without any of their help online at Amazon wasting money ordering the wrong thing two or three times they said they will refine $100 for the inconvenience which would include $60 that I spent on a nuts and bolts that were incorrect and $40 inconvenience I was to send in the receipt from Amazon Amazon doesn't really give receipts so I sent what I had I never got the money back at this point the gazebo is still in the box 8 months later and I would like to return it with them paying for a return shipping and pick up or give me $200 off the gazebo and send me the right bolts the customer service has been for it's mostly by email and overseas and a lot of Representatives don't know what they're talking about I am tired of wasting time with this company and I have found that the same gazebo you can get for $500 from two other stores that are actually close to me they may be just a little bit different but the same size I need somebody to deal with this now I tried to respond back via email and no one has responded this is too much money to waste on something that you have to spend additional money just to try and find the right bolts and then deal with customer service that is poor.Initial Complaint

I purchased two outdoor chairs about one year ago for $500. I have kept them covered when not in use. Even though I have kept good care of them they are cracking and breaking apart on the arm rests and on the top of the back of both chairs. I have contacted the company and they are refusing to do anything about it. I believe they should make good on a defective product. We bought the product from Big Lots on May 10, 2022 however this item is manufactured by this Sunjoy Group. We found out upon purchase that multiple critical items such as main legs of the gazebo were severely damaged and also missing critical multiple hardware. We already took down and disposed our current gazebo and was in the middle of installing this item. As we were not able to further proceed with missing pieces it was just fragile frame standing ** in our yard. We contacted the company immediately for assistance. Not only they never answer the phone or it is impossible to get through not once we received feedback for our online inquiries either. We were finally able to get through a phone call after 5 hours of waiting. We were then told that first they are not responsible as item was purchased from third party. Although we didn't purchase the item directly from them but this was manufactured and distributed by this company? The item is under the warranty and basically they were refusing to take the responsibilities. We were then told that due to lack down in ***** I would have to wait until end of July to get my missing pieces or replacement. We found it extremely upsettting and rather ridiculous that they were being extremely irresponsible and while the brand new item is still in stock on their website they are refusing to process the warranty on not our fault but their defected items. Why should consumer be responsible of going through returning over 600lb items at our own time and cost when in fact this was defected item? I purchased a brand new condition item not defected one. Neither Big Lot or Sun Joy is trying to be responsible for what they sold and placing the burden on the customers. It is unfair that they are making profits and not being responsible for defects that they sold to customers and not only that all the trouble we went through. We ask they pick and dissemble this defected items at their cost and replace us with brand new condition item
