The biggest problem is that their work caused a continuing periodic knocking/banging noises in 4 units in my building and they refuse to take responsibility. They cleared out on 9/14/2023 so we are still very much in the 1 year warranty period on their workmanship. They have come twice to try to fix the issue, the first time tightening a nut and the second time taking apart half my kitchen cabinets and then acknowledging they still hadn't fixed it but that it was on other people. They did not respond to any messages for a week (9/29 - 10/6) and refuse to take responsibility claiming it was an "existing building condition".Overall their work was sloppy and they took money from my bank account for an invoice that I had not agreed that the milestone was met.Business response

With regards to this complaint we were waiting until full resolution had been confirmed. The customer was complaining about a sound that was not in her apartment, she was not able to recreate the sound making it extremely difficult to troubleshoot and resolve. Ultimately we discovered she had been telling us it was coming from the wrong location. We took pre-emotive and typically unnecessary measures to ensure no further sound would be heard. All issues have been resolved and our contract was ultimately fulfilled to its entirety.
He complaints about not paying were in clear and direct breach of the contract. She failed to make payment at the contractually agreed time yet was upset because the contract she agreed to said that payment would be taken within 48hrs if other means of payment were not made.

Noise problem has been resolved.
Customer payments are exactly as defined in the contract. Customer was even LATE in making those payments, nothing about that was dishonest or at all outside of what the customer had contractually agreed to in writing.

I am rejecting this response because:PunchList took payment even when things were under dispute. There was no final walkthrough as per the contract. In order to get the noise at least somewhat resolved I had to threaten lawyers multiple times. Their workers did not provide a professional paint job per the contract, damaged walls and paint in areas adjacent to the work area, the shower glass was installed outside of the original *********** and incorrectly, and my home was not left "broom clean" by workers.
