    On Father's day June 16, 2024. I went to check out while card was in machine I had to answer how clean the store was. at that time it said approved. The lady told me I was wrong and did it again. she then said their it went. I knew it went twice so I came home and looked and I was correct. The next day I called and was told that she would have to email cracker barrel and let them know what happened. Took my name, phone number, register I used, last 4 digits of my card. She said corporate or the store would be in touch. Thursday the 20th no response I called again was told if I didn't want to wait for an email to call this 800 number and that the store could not return my money. Called the 800 number only to find out I have to contact through crackerbarrel.com. I was then given a response to wait 5 business days with a ticket number. Monday the 24th I received an email that asked for the dollar amount of the extra charge 46.05 last 4 digits of my card and date it happened. No I'm sorry s nothing no let me look into it. Nothing I was charged two times 46.05, I had proof, and this is what I'm dealing with. I was told I was wrong when I was right. You should not ask customers to rate the cleanliness of a store during transaction of paying and you should have someone to help you a lot sooner then a week. 90.00 is a lot of money for some. Had I not looked I would have been in trouble with my bank account. I don't like giving any numbers of my card through a email.
