      Hello BBB,

This is ***************** ******* Manager & President/CEO and *********************** COO from Dynasty LLC dba Dynasty Automotive. This BBB Complaint was issued to Dynasty Transport which is not the correct division of our company this is to fall under. It came to us listed as Dynasty Transport for whatever reason so just wanted to clear that up.

Our Customer ******************* which by the way we feel is a false name had came into our shop as a Walk-In customer with the following concerns on her 2014 Jeep Patriot Sport 2.0L:

      - Customer States Check Engine Light Is Illuminated
      - Customer States Vehicle Has A Noise Coming From The Front Of Vehicle While Driving.

Proper Diagnosis listed below to match Customer concerns.

      DIAGNOSTICS:
      - Customer States Check Engine Light Is Illuminated - Technician Scanned Vehicle For Diagnostic Trouble Codes And Recovered P0480 - Cooling Fan 1 Control Circuit Open - Technician Inspected The Cooling Fan Connectors And Found No Visible Damage - Technician Checked All Related Fuses Within The Circuit And Found All Fuses To Be Good - Upon Further Inspection The Technician Found The Radiator Fan Low/High Relay To Be Damaged Due To Corrosion Causing Pin ** Of The Relay To Be Corroded/Broken Off In The Relay Terminal (Radiator Fan Low/High Relay Is A Dealership Part)

      DIAGNOSTICS:
      - Customer States Vehicle Has Noise Coming The Front Of Vehicle While Driving - Technician Test Drove Vehicle And Confirmed Customer Concern - Technician Drove The Vehicle On An Automotive Lift And Found Both Front Wheel Bearings To Be Internally Damaged Causing The Front End Noise While Driving

Technician also heard belt noise coming from serpentine drive belt and a rattle noise coming from exhaust system at time of diagnosing customer concern listed above which ended up being due to a worn Serpentine Belt and loose heat shield on muffler of the Exhaust System.

Our ******* Advisor had reached out to customer explaining the Diagnosis of her concerns and additional Technician concerns customer also requested if we could perform ****************** as well while it was in for service. This was then added to the list of services to be quoted and performed at which customer approved and also signed work orders in which is attached on her approval of service we performed at which she was made fully aware by our ******* Advisor of what services she approved were being performed.

      Customer ******** *******s On
      Work Order #**** dated 9/21/23 :

      - ******************:

Includes Complete Vehicle Inspection! (Battery Test, Top Fluids, Check Tires/Pressures, Check Exterior Lights, Check Air Filter/Cabin, Check Front/Rear Suspension. Inspect Wiper Blades.)

      - Remove & Replace Serpentine Drive Belt
      - Remove & Replace Left Front Wheel Bearing
      - Remove & Replace Right Front Wheel Bearing
      - Remove & Replace Right Front Lower Ball Joint/Control Arm Assembly

      Customer Declined *******s:

      - Tire Rotation

      Customer ******** *******s On Work Order #**** dated 10/2/23:

      - Lower Exhaust System Muffler & Secure Exhaust System Muffler Heat Shield
      - Remove & Replace Left Rear Turn Signal Bulb

      RECOMMENDED SERVICE(S):
      - Technician Recommends Having A 4 Wheel Alignment Performed After Replacement Of Front Suspension Components
      - Technician Recommends Having The Vehicle Radiator Fan Low/High Relay Be *******d By An Authorized Chrysler Dealership
      - Technician Recommends Having A Tire ********************* Interval
      - Technician Recommends Replacing The Engine Air ******************* Interval
      - Technician Noticed Vehicle Brake System To Have A Noticeable Brake Pulse And Possible Brake Caliper Hanging Up) During Test Drive After Securing Exhaust System Muffler Heat Shield

Beings Technician Replaced Right Front Lower Ball Joint/Control Arm Assembly its always highly recommended anytime Front/Rear worn Suspension Parts are replaced to have a (4) Wheel Alignment performed to help extend the life of the tires and to prevent premature tire wear and to ensure vehicle to drive in a straight line safely down the road with no steering pull either to the right or left and to ensure steering wheel to remain in correct 12 oclock position.

Customer was informed of our ******* Recommendations at which are also listed on approved Work Orders customer was provided upon completion of listed services. ******* Advisor had advised customer that a (4) wheel alignment is recommended on suspension work we performed.

We definitely performed much more approved service on customer vehicle than what customer mentioned in this ******************** Complaint. If we only removed/replaced her serpentine belt it would have only costed her $120 Parts & Labor but in addition to that which is listed above we clearly performed more than just a serpentine belt.

As far as customer stating she notices a steering wheel shake and a burning smell, she was made aware that the service(s) we performed on her vehicle comes with our standard 6 Month/6,000 Mile Parts & Labor Warranty and it that concern pertains to service we performed than it would be covered under our parts & labor warranty but if it does not than it would involve additional parts & labor. The concern she is having now is a new concern which is pertaining to her Brake System. When customer initially came in her concern was a noise coming from the front of her vehicle which was due to both worn front wheel bearings she mentioned nothing about a steering wheel shake or a burning smell initially.

************** asked customer if her concern was taken care of and she had said yes all good before her new concern developed shortly after.

******* Manager reached out to customer after she mentioned to technician her vehicle is not fixed and that she needs it fixed and already spent x amount of dollars so that it should be included. ******* Manager explained to her that what is going on now is not related to what mechanical services we performed and that we can schedule her back in but since it is brake related it would not be covered under what has been performed so far and that it would require additional parts & labor. Well, customer did not accept that and got irate and very rude with us by saying we need to fix her vehicle and she is not paying anymore money and it should be included so on and so forth. Then tells ******* Manager that our shop is to expensive and we over charged her for service and that ************** does not know his job, when in reality our labor rates are very competitive in our area with that being $55/Hr **************** & $75/Hr ***************** ******* Manager had then asked customer if she had done her research around the area on cost of repairs and what each shops labor rates were prior to approving us to perform service on her vehicle when she clearly knew the total cost of parts & labor as we always inform our customers with initial quotes and require approval before we perform any service on a customers vehicle.

We feel she is upset with us because we will not provide her with free parts & labor on the new issue that has developed on her vehicle since it was just in and spent x amount of dollars on what service was performed.

I would like to bring up that when vehicle was scheduled back in on 10/2 for Work Order #**** to take care of her exhaust issue and replace her turn signal bulb, after service was completed and customer was made aware she came to our shop jumped in her vehicle knowing there was a bill and left without paying her bill. We had contacted her multiple times requesting her to come back to take care of her unpaid bill and she kept refusing and failing to do so. So since she failed to come in to settle up we had to contact local authorities as at this point it has become a legal issue with that being Theft of *******s. All we got out I her is she is not paying us more money as she already spent x amount of dollars to have her car fixed and for us to go ahead and call the authorities. We have a full police report attached as well over this hostile situation that occurred. Customer ended up settling up with being escorted in by local authority or she would have been taken into custody with Theft of *******s which is a crime in county of **** and state of ********.

This concludes our initial side of the story pertaining to the listed BBB Complaint. Any further questions or needing additional information please reach out.

Was not able to attach Police Report to this initial email but soon as I obtain a copy from ***************** I will get this sent over.

      Kind Regards,

      Dynasty LLC
