      I opened a claim for water in my home with my home warranty company (HWA) in April. A tech from Kwik Serv inspected my sink as water was traveling up the drain. He stated that the garbage disposal wasn't working and could be the reason why water was traveling up the sink. I paid him $100. He said he would order a new disposal and the company would get back to me. This didn't happen until mid-July. A different tech appeared for the second visit. He realized that the part was incorrectly ordered--I have a batch disposal and the one that was ordered was for a switch disposal. He did not ask for payment because I had already paid $100 for the claim and was willing to pay any difference for the disposal outside of what my home warranty company (HWA) would cover. After the tech left I realized I couldn't do my dishes without that disposal re-inserted, however the tech took it with him. Why he didn't realize that I wouldn't be able to run my dishwasher without it is a head scratcher. Many frustrating phone calls/discussions later, **** won't return and reinstall my disposal. They are literally holding it hostage until I pay them $100. For what?? I paid them the original claim money. I want the disposal re-installed immediately or my next step is to go to the ********* police and file a theft charge against Kwik Serv Plumbing. Its a simple request: return my property and reinstall it. It should never have left my home.

      We were able to get the warranty company to understand that there are two different types of garbage disposals.  We finally received their approval and replaced the batch feed garbage disposal with a new **** garbage disposal on 8/9/2024.

      Kwik Serv Plumbing, ******************************************* plumbing is the worst plumbing company. I dont recommend anyone use their service. I had them come out yesterday to rod my main sewer line and instead of ensuring the blockage was clear they only made sure 25 feet was clear. I called back today and let them know theres still water in the drain and when it fills up its going back into the laundry room. They wont come back unless I pay another $225 when I already paid $460! They are saying its because I only paid for one hour of service, even though the technician that came said the price would not change regardless of how long he was there. Now I have to call another plumbing company and pay another full fee to have this completed correctly because they refuse to come back to correct the issue.

      Mainline back up, sewer coming up floor drain. The customers home warranty company denied coverage for the mainline rodding. We reviewed the costs with her and she approved.  Rodded 25 ****** a hard spot that *********** had to work through after getting past the hard spot the drain cleared. We ran water in both sinks downstairs and customer ran water upstairs water was flowing properly. Customer yelled to us and asked if we were almost done because she cant afford another hour so we pulled back my rodding machine. Then set the toilet with a new wax ring tested toilet and it was flushing perfectly. Explained to customer that Im not sure whats going on with her line without doing a camera scope we have no idea what is exactly going on. She agreed to everything we had to say and possibly wanted to do camera. 

      This has been an ongoing problem for this customer, which is why we recommended using a sewer camera to see what is causing her these issues.  We also would have preferred to rod the sewer line past the 25ft but we did not have her approval so we stopped.  We tested to verify it was flowing at the time we left her house.  We do not know what has been put down her sewer since we left.  Our sewer rodding charges are by the hour since each situation is different.  We do not quote a flat one time charge nor can we guarantee the rodding since we do not know what we are dealing with.  The pipe could be collapsed, broken, full of roots, full of floss, wipes, or other foreign objects.  We provided her options and she chose to stop our work at 1 hour.

      July **** Home Warranty assigned KwikServ fix AC -Multiple visits and conversations between KwikServ and HWA to replace condenser and coil ($1300)-KwikServ salesman contacted us to sell us a new HVAC due to AC being replaced -Agreed to purchase the Amana two-stage furnace (cost approx 6k)-HVAC and AC were installed end of August (2-day install)-HVAC was not used until Oct 16. Not coming to requested temp -Kwikserv sent ******* out on 10/17 and 10/26 and stated "Nothing was wrong with the ****** They mentioned potentially a faulty thermostat but they only ran the unit in maintenance mode and not from the thermostat.-We replaced the thermostat on 10/27 (cost of 250 dollars)-House at 60 degrees on Oct 30. Called another company and came out same day. They stated that the unit came from the manufacturer miswired. Technician called Amana to verify and Amana recommended that another unit be installed as they didnt know what other problems existed. Technician corrected the system so it ran. Humidifier had a burnt-out solenoid and technician believes the gas valve may be failing. Service call cost was $350 -Contacted KwikServ after the technician left to inform them of the findings and requested an additional visit -Contacted salesman who assured us he would reach out to the technician supervisor -******** sent technician to follow up on 11/2, he stated there was nothing wrong with the unit and did nothing to repair the humidifier as he stated he was unfamiliar with the equipment.-Emailed KwikServ on 11/3 to follow up on areas of concern and requested a phone call. Have not heard from salesman or the co-owner in a week -HVAC is producing heat, but we are not confident it will not have issues once the temperature starts to drop. Humidifier is still repaired We have no recourse to ensure our system is functioning. No contact from ********* to follow up on the warranty they provided with the unit. These past 5 months have been a nightmare communicating with KwikServ.

      The company lied about their availability and cause me to miss work time . I want an immediate refund for $100 plus missed work time of ***** per hour for 2 and a half hours.

      *********************** is an American Home Shield customer and according to her policy she must make herself available between 8am and 4pm Monday thru Friday.  She was given the time frame between 8am and noon.  We said that we would try to make her the first appointment but it wasn't guaranteed.  Her assigned plumber had an emergency causing him to arrive late.  ************************ was given the option of waiting for the plumber or rescheduling her appointment or contacting American Home Shield and requesting a different vendor.  She refused each option.Tell us why here...
