Our brand new air conditioner blew out from a storm in late May. We called an **** ************* ******* to come diagnose the issue, and they came on May 25th, but they were unable to since they were getting an unrecognizable code. The air conditioner fan basically just runs full blast and does not turn off unless you turn the breaker off. Its VERY VERY VERY LOUD. Enough to make a person deaf and crazy if they have to listen to it constantly. The **** ******* has now contacted Nortek 3 times to get assistance with this repair. Nortek will not get back to them. Gurly & Son suggested we take a shot at calling customer service to see if we get any further with Nortek than they could. So, on June 6th we did just that. I spoke with a woman who was the rudest customer service representative Ive ever encountered. She refused to even attempt to help me because Im not the tech (who has already left 3 messages with the *******) and then literally hung up on me. This was the worst customer service I have ever had ever. Not sure what they pay that woman for, but they should really stop because shes awful. And Nortek as a whole should be supporting the products they sell. Not even the techs can get through. And thats deplorable because its summer. Our heating/cooling system is basically still new and should be under warranty. But they wont even return calls. I will NEVER willingly pay for their products again. EVER.
